Blackpoint Marina Boat Ramp Swallows Full Landscape Truck (Chit Show)

Спорт

The swamp swallower does it again another truck goes down at the boat ramp.To make matters more interesting Fred the Crocodile was going up and down the boat ramps stalking boaters and one very suspicious diver.
The truck in today's video was a commercial landscape truck that went down while full of tree debris. The truck slid down the slippery ramp while it was on park.
No boat ramp fails or Chit Show on this video but stay tuned for more boat crashes and craziness.

On every vehicules theres a park release. On cars its like the guy said, theres usually a little hole cover, pretty small that you pop open and stick a key in to release the shifter lock and be able to put it in N. However, on trucks, in 80% of models you gotta go under the truck and on the tranny or near it you'll have the release. Every vehicule has a release. Finding it sometimes can be the challenge and unfortunately manufacturers dont tell you there is one or where it is. Every tow driver should know about the shift releases. But if you have the tow boss that doesn't know anything about cars, he won't teach it to others. All that to say they all have a release. A literal 10 second google search could've told you on the spot. Then again, tow dude probly doesn't give 2 F about it and truck is most likely totaled like my man said.

If you buy polarized sunglasses and temporarily put them in front of your camera lens, it will see straight through the reflection at Fred. Cheap and effective. They also make polarizing filters to screw on the front of any good camera lens. If they want to be safe entering the water, they should buy a fish or two, cut it up and have you feed Fred a piece every 30 seconds to a minute over at his feeding station. WHAT!!!! Do you realize the emergency brake only locks the rear wheels? And that the rear wheels are filled with air and float, allowing the tyres to slide down the ramp. Sit in the vehicle with your foot on the brake so the front wheels are locked, or use a chock under the front wheels. And dont back the boat off the trailer if the winch is still attached,,,,,the boat becomes the tow truck ::)

Obviously, the tow truck operator wanted to show off his new equipment and hook and unhook several times. I think he should have backed the tow truck up and run a snatch block down low at the rear of the truck and then he could have pulled forward as the sunken truck came up the ramp. Also, I think the size of the tow truck was overkill

I agree with you on this. Ive done heavy recovery as well and really dont understand why he took out the rotator, he could have just backed up in front of the Isuzu, used his regular boom with cable extended and pulled him out without all the hoopla. As far as the truck being a total loss, diesels are a little more forgiving than a gas engine. The fuel tank was full, you can see al the fuel on the water surface. Pull the head off the engine and flush the valves with oil. Same for the tranny, drop the pan, flush the system with oil.
