"Quality pixels over quantity of pixels" That's a bit glib, don't you think? Pixels are pixels. They contain color information, not quality information. Anyway, "quality" is completely subjective, right? Oh, and yes, the shooter/editor did a fantastic job with this.

@@oldrogue4247 It was just a compliment. I would disagree(not that it matters on youtube), complimenting the cinematography and the quality of a cheap/old HD camera is not glib. I think the 6K Pocket is using a very similar sensor to this, the qualities are almost identical, the BMPCC 4k was a major let down that tilted toward sharpness rather than detail and highlight intensity rather than low-mid roll-off. 6K looks very promising!

@Program2live

@@hideki_film If they leave it at 6k raw only then it will be so disappointing. As for mounts etc I think the next-gen is going to be full-frame so mtf lenses might be out for good. Just speculation but I think full-frame and super 35 are the only options going forward if they want to continue raising low light performance and get to the 8k mark. I agree though the colour science is extremely good!

I truly appreciate that you share your art! The Pocket's minimalist design always has appealed to me. It provides the visual asthetic that harkens back to a time when 16mm films movies were standard. Your tips of "just hold the gimbal upside down" and "no LUTs just film grain and a couple of curve adjustments" warms my cinematic heart!! :). Excellent job sir! Excellent job indeed! Once KZread gets around to awarding posts, Im nominating you for Best Bmpcc cinematography! (Upscaling in Davinci makes it look like this!?!) Damnn!!

Honestly, this 5 years old little camera has more FILM quality than any other 4k,6k camera today! a truly cinematic camera.
