What LUT did you use - thank you in advance
You know these day's we're all pixels pixels pixels sharp sharp sharp but when you see shots like these we're reminded no, not sharpness, not contrast...color. Well, that's easy to say being as how the sharpness is also spot on.
I'm sorry if you feel the footage a little bit shaky. Again, I was on holidays and I was traveling very light. I could not bring a tripod with me :) cheers

+Matteo Bertoli Filmmaker - Could the Warp stabilizer fix the "shaky" problem? I have a stabilizer for my DSLR camera but the BPCC is too light for that stabilizer so it kinda "swing" a little bit if I use that. So I am debating if I should just handheld the BPCC and fix the shaky problem with Premiere or I should use the stabilizer and let it "swing" (but it's hard to control). Do you have any suggestions? Thanks! BTW, I really LOVE the color of your video!!

+Matteo Bertoli Filmmaker A little handheld movement only adds to the BMPCC aesthetic. Don't ever stabilize it out in post! This video is lovely

its ok but you could just edited. camera shake in softwares.its easy to remove those shakes. if you did that this footage will be more cinematic grade..

A little bit of natural shake is way better than stabilized jello shots. You can't get away from this with rolling shutter cameras like the BMPCC, stabilizers will remove shake but they really highlight this issue at the same time

Maybe a slight warp stabalizer would have helped. :) Amazing video!
This is beautiful man seriously that plane in the sky shot took my breath away
What a little powerhouse of a camera this still is. Easily good enough for a feature film.
I'm still amazed with how retro this looks. It puts a smile on my face.
I still come back to this video! i love it
UPDATE: Thank you guys! I've been very busy lately and I was able to see some comments just now. Really appreciate. I think all the technical aspects are listed in the description, so if you expand that you will find all the information that you need. Again, this video was shot while I was on vacation in London. I didn't use any rig. I simply put the camera on my super 8mm camera handle and that's it. I didn't use any external monitor, or cages or nothing. Camera, metabones, sigma 18-35 and the handle. Again, thank you very much for all your comments and support. I just moved to Salt Lake City now and I am planning to shoot a Cinematic Salt Lake City video :) Stay tuned!

Penso di averti conosciuto con questo filmato e devo dire che a distanza di anni continua ad essere attuale e memorabile! Grande Matteo!!!
Still a special camera this one, and it definitely shows how bit depth matters. Nice work, I might have to try and find one.
Love the quality of the footage, the atmosphere, colors.. nice job, great camera.
WOW. I'm blown away by the quality of this footage, I had no idea Blackmagic made such an affordable camera which provided such quality results
Sooo cool! Love how you showed both daytime examples and night time examples👌🏼 such a good camera! Very cool film 🙌🏼
Damn. This camera still looks amazing. 4K is great and all but this is just a testament to true talent and vision! Really good images!
Wow! This footage is absolutely stunning. I can't believe how awesome the BMPCC's footage looks. Great job.
I loved the shot of the five guys and the fact it was filmed from outside the restaurant. Its almost like you are peeking in on the small intimate moments of life. Great video man!

I love this. Its clearly a Vacation Home Movie, but it draws you in as its not just "Phone Camera" Rubbish. Lovely Editing and Colour Grading.
I love shots like 0:17... They always make me think of that one scene in Superman when he takes off and goes supersonic. Looks magical

Still amazing even in 2018. But, year doesn't matter. Amazing is timeless. But the shot at the beginning with the clouds and I think it was maybe a plane soaring through? My God... beautiful. Subbing. You're a talented filmmaker.
I just keep going back to your Legacy BMPCC stuff. Just too good.
Amazing!!! And I thought it had been made raw until I looked at the description... Congratulations !! Your video helped me decide on a blackmagic
Color grading looks great, and the night shots came out clean, great work.
I've never been to London. However, this showed me the beautiful scenery of London has. Thank you so much. :)
Visited England for the first time in 2018, I was 18 then. It was magical, I had an amazing time there
Simply stunning!
I love this so much!!

I am in love with this camera. Hope one day will own it. Great video btw
Great footage. And I love that Camden Market. The food there is so good.
this is beautiful work
Beautiful footage - I don't need one but I want one of these cameras now!
I don't know if you will see that Matteo but I wanted to say thank you, I've been a londoner for a year and your video brings back so much memories to me. But better than the memories, it brings back kind of a mood I couldn't find in any other video. Really, I was looking for some sample footage of the bmpcc some time ago, and I just landed on the channel of the great filmmaker that you are. I hope you're living out of it (if that's what you want) because you deserve it. :)

this so good image. I never comment on anything really on youtube. But I like this video so much it reminds me of something but I dont know what it is. the grading feels like its from 70s really like that
This is incredible - and I love the shakiness, it makes it so much more personal and intimate. Thanks for sharing +Matteo Bertoli Filmmaker :)

great shots :D really nice done
It’s amazing these black magic cameras. I prefer even this original over many of the higher end more expensive rigs that everyone gushes over. I’m rocking the 6k. And I have zero reasons for upgrading to anything else…
very great shot. it helps me a lot to find the final output from BPCC. thanks :)
Great job I use myself this camera for vocational training . Very good camera
Very nice work.
Great work!
Color e inquadrature stupende. Molte le avrei lasciate fisse ma posso capire che in viaggio e per strada non avresti potuto piazzare cavalletti. Bravo.
Beautiful Video!
Fantastic!
oh my god its beautiful
I'd like to learn about videography and am considering the Black Magic pocket camera. Great video!!
Really enjoyed this video. Thanks!
amazing color grading
Love it!
Fab video thanks for sharing and like your grading really nice.
Flippin heck man! If I had this camera I'd somehow still botch up the focus. That being said, great footage and I'm quite impressed with the DOF. Too bad this was out of my budget last year when I was buying a camera. I'm super jealous now lol
Beautiful. Ilike it
i hate cloudy days.... but great camera!

good shoots
Black magic is undefeated
Wow, this looks incredible. Maybe it's time I upgraded from the t2i haha
Superb
I love the color grading. maybe some warp stabilizer (or a tripod) o some shots would make it even cooler but I guess in that way is more original. Love it dude. Keep up the good work.

lovely
This is still brilliant in 2022!! Please can you tell me what aspect ratio and resolution did you upload this to KZread?? I love the way it fills the whole screen, without having to zoom to fill. I’m going to buy one of these now!! I just checked $300 on eBay unbelievable!!
I love the vibe, and this weirdly features so many locations I’ve loved for the last 4 years of living in London! Shame about all the micro jitter the pocket 4K and sigma 18-35 has, I found this out the hard way too, using it on a c100 and realising how shaky all my footage was, you think you’ll get some form of cage with handles or something else to try and reduce the shake you’re getting?
The color grading reminds me of the Secret Life of Walter Mitty... nice
I wanna buy the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K but after watching this I don´t think it´s worth the money and the less user-friendli user-friendliness. Great video
I love watching in 360p...
Very nice mate, in some shots it would be better with a tripod, other than that, amazing grading and shots.

true. but I actually kinda liked the hand hold look, makes it feel more real and immersive sometimes.
The color and sharpness is really amazing from this little cam. Cinema quality stuff. The footage is a bit shaky at times, which kindo breaks the cinema feeling of it. I've watched some of your other work, the wooden bootle ad is really good with the dolly shots etc, super good feeling and professional look :)

+Bananas and Bass It kinda depends on the occasion doesn't it? Shaky camera work is being used a lot in cinema, during war scenes, car chases, when the main character is in distress,... So I wouldn't say shaky camera work breaks the cinematic feeling, but it's all subjective anyway.

Brandon Lagaert Yes that's true. But there's different kinds of shake. There's more grand gesture shakes, and more smaller vibration-like shakes. The size of a camera and maybe rig has a lot to do with how a handheld shot will look eventually. If you put a mid-size or large video/cine camera in your hands and walk around. It will move around the frame a bit, like shake, but not vibrate. If you hold an iPhone or M4/3 camera in your hand wihtout IS, it will micro shake/jitter/vibrate differently. I'm just clarifying that I'm not talking about handheld vs tripod/dolly. But rather vibrations. Since most cinema handheld is still stabilised by at least a shoulder rig. Which will move, but just dampen vibrations, and just allow for more natural shakes that don't distract much and can actually add to indeed action shots etc.
