@@desertrose6100 he did that because of the green book never included Don Shirley's family and made it look like Don Shirley didn't speak to them. So all the events that happen really didn't happen.The two characters never were friends hardly even speak to each other they just had a work relationship and Don Shirley fired his driver with In three weeks. Don's older brother spoke about how he felt disappointed in the movie and the writers and director never spoken to him about it. They only had Tony Lips son to tell the story about Don Shirley so you see why Don Shirley's family would be upset about this movie. However later the actor who played Don Shirley apologize to the family telling them he should have spoken to them and never knew that Don had family.

That slow turn of the chair had me dying lol!

The whole scene with the phone call and Adam Driver just sloooooowly turning around is hilarious haha. This movie looks good.

The idea that a black African American man infiltrated a world-renowned racist group in the 20th century (when the "dead washed up old group" was very much an issue) whilst being the first black police officer in that city is very impressive and does, in fact, mean something. Dayguh Well producers do a lot actually. They're just not the creative driving force but there have plenty of instances where terrible descions weren't made cause of producers or great ideas put in. Ex. The simpsons heart warming parts and even the end of Lisa's substitute was the idea of the producer. And most of the cell saga from dbz was formed cause the producer shot down terrible ideas. Plus indiana Jones had real bad ideas but were shot down. Plus they help fund the movie and help in casting and shit. Make things run smoothly. When adapting works also the producer role that the original author fills is pretty damn important

Just a quick recap before there’s a conservative-Liberal comment war... It’s a late 60’s movie, about a comedic black cop against the kkk, Kylo Ren is a cop, and the words “All Power To All People” we’re spoken which is a good thing..... I’m sold

Why should it trigger "folks" ? KKK members aren't enough to be called "folks". I don't see who, except them and a few white supremacists, would be triggered. Unless, of course, it make black supremacists look like nice guys.

Best part of the traile is when the protagonist starts listing off all the people he hates over the phone; nearly brought me to tears laughing
