Great one for your road-trip playlist, Train, train next 🚞
Ricky could belt it out and play guitar like nobody's business!
Outstanding tune.. great choice, Biz! "I Got A Line On You", "Flyin' High" or "Left Turn On a Red Light", for future songs.

Sept 6, 2022. We need to do our research. Biz has already reacted to it!!😮😅
All of there's are dope. Saw them live. I used to sing that in a band i was in , i coverd this song, it was tuff. Ricky only had one lung. His guitar work and theirs is incredible
Rickey Medlocke the singer and guitarist is now a member of Lynyrd Skynyrd

Was also their first drummer back in the early 70's ...
Another kick-ass Southern Rock band from Jacksonville, Florida.
Rattlesnake Rock’n’Roller with the intro, featuring Rick Medlocke’s grandfather. Also, from the second album: diary of a working man.
Life on the road taking it's toll on people and great bands sing about it absolutely awesome
Train, Train should be next. Killer harmonica.
Another great Jacksonville Band in a long line of Great Jacksonville bands!

Sho got that right.👉
Classic road song from the 70s, up there with Bob Seger's "Turn the Page". Blackfoot was a pretty underrated "southern" rock band that should have been every bit as storied as The Allman Brothers, but for some reason they just never really got huge. But this one is still on the radio after 50 years, so they did something right. Great stuff, dude!
High School Senior Year, blowing down the road in my '69 Barracuda 100+ mph. They played the local Bike Rally a few years ago, and my son then 14 got them to autograph his t-shirt, even though they weren't doing a meet and greet. Made his whole year.
Blackfoot is a very under rated group of rockers. Several hits were made.
Black Foot is from Jacksonville Florida. 🥁☮☘
Blackfoot got its name to represent the American Indian heritage of its members: Jakson Spires (from Oklahoma) had a Cheyenne/French father and a Cherokee mother; Rickey Medlocke's father was Lakota Siou] and Blackfoot Indian, and his mother's side is Creek/Cherokee, Scottish and Irish; Greg "Two Wolf" Walker is part Eastern (Muskogee) Creek, a tribe recognized by the state of Florida, but not federally. Charlie Hargrett was the only white man of the original, classic line-up.
My man is rockin that bass line
All of them. Great review
I LOVE BEING NATIVE AMERICAN
I read somewhere that Lynyrd Skynyrd's Allen Collins was not happy with his former bandmate Ricky Medlocke because he said the solo sounded too much like his Free Bird solo.
Rattlesnake Rock n Roller should be your next Blackfoot song to react to. You'll love that one
Love, love, love this song! Thank you for playing & reacting to this ❤️
Ricky Medlock is the guitar player. He has been the guitar player for LYNRYRD SKYNYRD for decades now.
Yes please Train Train next
Head bobbin music at it's finest
Blackfoot Train Train.
Amen Biz!!!! Great pick!!!!!
You did good by playing this one 1st before their song train train ! In my opinion highway song is their best song , Brings back a ton of memories ! Not to mention it's a banger ! Imagine listening to this as a teenager on a nice day with the windows down you'll find yourself doing a 100 miles an hour !
So beautiful
Oldie but a goodie. What do Blackfoot & LYNYRD Skynard have in common???

"Feeling Good", "Searching", "Madness", "Dry County", "Good Morning", "Left turn on a red Light", "Diary of a Working man" #GOBIZGO
Southern Rock at it greatest! #NativeAmericanMonth
Great song, great guitar work, stuff that’s great live also, kind of like the outlaws!
All of them
The highway is your life people. Take care and be yourself. Thanks Biz
One if my favorite bands. I discovered them accidently many years ago when I saw an album of theirs (cassette actually) in a store and I mistook them for a band an old roommate tried to get me interested in many years earlier. It was a pretty cool mistake to make. "Left Turn on a Red Light" is kinda chill like the earlier part of this song. Might not be everybody's cup of tea but the guitar work on that song is wonderful IMO.

Oh, what am I thinking, somebody else commented "Train Train" as a good Blackfoot song to react to and they are definitely right.
You should just review this whole album!!! Great Band!!
I didn't realize you haven't heard this band before. Awesome choice. That whole Strikes album is great. A classic. Just randomly pick a song on it and it'll be good. Left Turn on a Red Light is my favorite track. They have another song called Diary of a Working Man that you would like.
You get Skynyrd vibes ,well so many come to mind, Alman Bro
Black Label Society Jakk Wylde "In this river"
Love it, Biz!
I used to listen to these guys. They were awesome. I saw them live in a bar 40 years ago. I was only 16. Better, far more fun, days. That being said, I'm not advocating for it. But, there was something more real and not "bubble wrapped for your protection" back then that I miss. It seems like people were much more free. Including free to get your ass handed to you if made certain decisions. I liked that. I feel sorry for young people now because they live in such an odd reality that is not actually reality, and am grateful to have grown up in the '70s and '80s....

Great song from an underrated band....
On the Mt. Rushmore of southern rock anthems .. Along with The Outlaws Green grass and high tides .. Skynyrd's Freebird .. and The Allman Brothers Whipping post
The greatest radio song.
Train Train
Ricky Medlock in his prime.
