We got all the way to 2024, just to return to the music that required us to head back to Macon and Muscle Shoals

I'm British and was raised on Deep Purple, Led Leplin and Thin Lizzy. But I'm defo warming to Southern Rock these days. Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchett and now Blackberry Smoke. It's a great sound.

Mate, I think Southern Rock is the natural refuge of many ageing rockers. Check out the Dark Country series of albums also, you might find a treasure or two on them.

This band has renewed my faith in rock n roll! Charlie Starr is a fantastic songwriter/guitarist/singer! The band is spectacular!

Given that people have been "spiritual" for thousands of years before your Jewish spin off Christianity was invented and people have worshipped god's before your Jewish Yahweh deity was invented, you don't have much of a right to tell people what they can or cant sing about. I'm wondering WTH I'm just now hearing these guys? I see comments from others how they are reminders of some southern rock legends, and They do remind us,, it's that Bad @$$ Southern stand ya ground,, protect ya ground down South Sound. As much as they remind me of allot of the great's , they'res a distinctness about you guys. If I had the guess, it's because your showing us who you truly are and the sounds you are true to. I first heard of Blackberry Smoke from fans of Gregg Allman/ABB music~ they raved about how great the band is....and they were RIGHT! I can't hardly sit still when I hear this song! And I recently saw them opening on the Lynyrd Skynyrd Last of the Street Survivors Tour and even my husband was amazed at how fantastic they were! They played such a tight set we were completely blown away! I can't get enough now!

These guys are legends. They are VERY popular in the UK..I've seen them live several times and they deliver the goods. Every time. Each gig has had a great atmosphere. They are all superb musicians, and they are FRIENDS and that reflects in the chemistry on stage. BTW Shaking Hands... is one of the finest songs ever written, in my humble opinion...

Awesome band keeping rock and roll alive! Raw talent

My whole family has been down several of the addiction roads. I lost a brother being stupid a couple of years ago. My other brother is slowly dying from pancreatic cancer . This probably due to drowning himself in alcohol and various other things. Being older now and not giving a shit, I finally picked up the pen and started writing. I put three songs out there on various platforms. If you’re curious, take a listen. It’s been very cathartic for my soul.

BlackBerry Smoke is the best Southern WHisky Band on the great cotton fields and my little blue tooth speaker is always sharing there great tunes at work while I am moving appliances in Seattle WA thanks Charlie and crew your band keeps the wheels rolling.
