I grew up in the 90's I'm 33 years old and my favorite player was and still is Allen Iverson!!! However I was a KNICKS fan !!! Once my boy Melo came to NEW YORK I was hype Af lol 😂 I'll never forget the 2013 playoffs when we made it to the second round and lost to the Indiana Pacers!!! Been a day one Mello fan, he's my favourite player since draftedb in 2003. I can't wait to see Dame, Mello and CJ light up the playoffs this season. Dame is a real one for getting Mello back in the league and onto the Blazers. Thank you for this awesome documentary. 👊🏽👍🏽

Underrated scoring machine

One of my fav players ever. Everyone hates on this man because of how he doesn’t have a chip but he never had the help a superstar should’ve. The fact that his 2013 year was one of his best and the backup to him was an injured Amare, Jr and an old jason kidd shows the situations he was in. In his prime he had amazing footwork, a great handle, great post moves, amazing iso abilities, and he did all of this while shooting well with a forwards body. He beat KD for the scoring title in 2013, and he was super prominent until he got injured around 2014-15. One of the goat scorers. Edit: The Linsanity underappreciation cannot be tolerated

This only added to his legacy and showed people how the people in league have an agenda against him since the very beginning. He would be higher on the points table if that 1.5 season wasn't stolen from him.

@jaydexe If u look at the last like 7 games he's averaged 20 points, and last 7 games he's averaged more blocks then everyone on his team. That's a solid player for coming off the bench.

My fav player , I use to volunteer at his camp/boys club in heart of Baltimore city , I was jus there 4 a summer staying w my big bro who lived n worked out there . Best times of my place, melo always been a goat 🐐

He is a selfish basketball player without the ability to carry a championship team and who flamed out in every situation he has been in...he deserved to be out of the league because he still wanted star treatment when he was clearly nothing more than a role player...in Portland he is much more humble and willing to be a role player and I wish him well in that regard

The Triangle Offense isn't outdated. It just needs players with a certain skillset. You can't make players fit the offense - you have to get the right players for it. Also, people treat that offense like it's some kind of mystery. It isn't. It's a high-post passing and cutting offense, which has been run in different forms by many teams.

Linsanity was still most amazing story since I watch basketball.. Short lived but, that time blew me away! If only the Detroit Piston drafted Melo that year!! What could of been I always wonder...

Melo robbed for that ROY no questions asked. MJ also some of those designs for his sneakers after the 3 or 4th one was all suspect..respect to you guys for putting this together. I wonder if he just signed the next summer with the Knicks how much better they would've been, or if Amare didn't get hurt. Melo doesn't get enough respect for his clutch, late game shooting as an alltime clutch player. His is better in the clutch than KOBE. Only, MJ,Bird and Reggie I would potentially take over him in the clutch. Defense and conditioning are two things he needed to change to be considered better than he currently is all time
