An original documentary that follows the journey of the former MVP of the NBA, as he tries to fight his way back from injuries and re-establish himself as one of the game's best.
People love to use Derrick Rose as one of the game's greatest "what ifs". What if he hadn't torn his ACL? What if he had played better with LeBron in Cleveland? What if...what if... what if. But when I think of D-Rose, I don't think about what could have been. Instead I'm amazed at the fact that an individual could endure as many obstacles and roadblocks as he has, and still be able to compete (let alone thrive) at a professional level. This is my tribute to a player that inspired me to fall in love with the game of basketball during his time with the Chicago Bulls, and then inspired me in a new way over the past few seasons as he re-invented himself on the court and found new ways to succeed. From the 50 point game in Minnesota to putting the Knicks on his back in the 2021 playoffs, this documentary is a front row seat to what it truly means to bounce back from rock bottom. A lesson we can all learn from.

I still maintain he is one of the players in all sports with the what if he doesn’t get injured. The man was so good. Def one of my favorite players.

Derrick Rose is the story of a man who gave his all and got so much less than he needed from the league that he loved for so long. I'm glad D Rose has seen a new lease of life with the Knicks. The loss of a prime D Rose is one thing but for the Bulls to trade him just felt like a stab in the gut for those rooting for his comeback. D Rose, i know you won't read this but you're one of my all time favourite players and i say that as someone who's been watching since the mid 90's. You made me inspired to be a Bulls fan again after the ingnonimous period of the post-Jordan era teams. You were incredible to watch. One of the greatest human highlight reels of all time. I'm so sorry that you'll never be able to show us your full potential. You deserved more. But we're all immensely proud of you for what you've done with your life and your story is inspirational. I say this as someone who's struggled with depression and anxiety for much of my life. Stories like yours mean the world to people like me. Much love to the Windy City Assassin.

This was a great documentary. No one could have predicted Derrick Rose's journey. He proved so many people wrong post injuries. No one deserves to have stability more than him.

Derrick Rose is by far my favorite player. Being a knicks fan, I was beyond happy for his first Stent in NY. Yeah it was rocky but I loved it. Now him being here again and thriving brings me so much joy. I already knew this story but the way you produced it had me sobbing

As a true fan I even doubted how a mam can come back after so many injuries. But can't never under estimate the heart of a true champion

Man this documentary was really well structured showing the adversity of drose from trial to tribulation, the commentary by you really complemented drose journey from 0 - 100.. This type of production is something you would see on a netflix show with a bunch of workers, amazing work. 👏🏽

What really got me was when Charles and Kenny were saying that D.Rose career was over and the other was when he scored 50 points with the Utah Jazz a team that had waived him that goes to show nothing is impossible when you really want it 🏀🏀🏀 BIG UP from Ireland 😎

Great work! Everything time I see that 50 pt game it bring's me to tears. This man life is so inspiring not about basketball but the lessons of life facing adversity and your darkest hours and overcoming it all rose will always be may favorite player and forever mvp. He has never been a NBA champion, but is a champion in life.
I just love this man's experience, because, I could see myself going through it. If I was as good? He had me watching the Bulls a lot and, I wish that they didn't trade him. But he was so awesome to watch.

My favorite player til this day, back w/ my fav team. Last season was special because of him. Getting him for DSJ is still crazy to me. Thibs def saved his career in ‘18 and again in ‘21. Hope he retires a Knick. Great job on the doc 👍🏽
