Very similar to Ronaldo (Nazario) in football/soccer. He was powerfully built - yet so fast, skillful and agile. In the end, his body just couldn't keep up. We'd be talking about him and not Lionel Messi (or Cristiano Ronaldo - depending on who you ask) as the greatest player of all time, if not for the injuries.

Whenever I read or hear a comment about Russell Westbrook being the most athletic PG in NBA history I shake my head in disgust. Let me be very clear with my next comment. Every elite PG in the NBA feared playing against 21/22 year old Derrick. He repeatedly destroyed CP3, Russ & Curry whenever he faced them. Horrendous that he was robbed of a career due to injury

@@nalenciagas2454 I'm a Heat fan lol so I'm glad that shit didn't happen. But I'm pretty sure a healthy Wade, Rose and Bron would've been better then Rose, Wade and Bosh. I think MVP Rose would've picked up LeBrons slack a lil bit more then Bosh did in the 2011 Finals cause even with LeBron playing like crap that series it's not like the Mavs blew them out every game. The Heat could've literally went up 3-0 on them if they didn't blow a 15 point 4th quarter lead in G2. I think that trio wins 1 more title then the Wade, Bron and Bosh trio. Assuming Rose is healthy. Cause Rose was a fucking monster. And in Chicago rebounding wouldn't have been a problem with Taj Gibson, Noah & Boozer down there. The Heat had rebounding problems throughout those 4 years without a true big man.

Same with the Nets in 2014. They swept us 4-0 in the regular season. Wasn't worried about them at all. I knew come playoff time we'd smash they ass. I was worried a lil bit when the Bulls beat us 101-82 in game 1 tho. Cause had we lost game 2 and went down 0-2 it could've gotten ugly.
