    Look at the shots Rose was making... He was running through double teams and traps and barely getting shots off over shot blockers... You could not contain Derrick Rose in a regular season game back then. The playoffs are where you can get him. Refs dont call fouls too often and you will get away with fouling him from time to time. And that can win you a game.

Steph just tries to look good for the crowd. 2011 Rose will never impress me because he couldnt shoot. Sure he had athleticism, but just crowd the paint and he can't make a play. But never have I seen a player like Kyrie that can shoot and finish at the rim dam near both exceptionally well. But this is just me.

    Boogie Cousins Nah, Rose during his MVP year was better than Westbrook in terms of impact. Westbrook is just better at getting numbers.

  • @mariahlin5556

    @mariahlin5556

    Boogie Cousins Look at his impact objectively. Rose carried the Bulls to the no.1 seed in the Eastern conference. He was dominating the point guard position. Westbrook though a athletic monster as well, can't carry a team to the playoffs by himself. Plus, despite his big numbers today, Westbrook isn't even the best point guard in the league today, with OKC sitting in the 3rd/4th Western conference position.

  • @mariahlin5556

    @mariahlin5556

    Boogie Cousins Well you are definitely correct on the part that Curry is better than Rose. But if we're talking back on impact wise, MVP Rose was still better than Westbrook. Westbrook isn't dominating above .500 teams today. He posts big numbers because of the way OKC lets him use the ball a lot.

    Prime rose was so energetic and explosive. Driving in to make layups whilst sometimes going in contact with opposing players and drawing fouls. Current day rose is smoother i feel. He makes the plays, assists the team, makes good shot selections making more from the 3 pt line which he didn't before, is agile and smoother. But in any case, he still a helluva player. 🌹

    Not going to lie looking back because hindsight is 20/20 the tandem of James and Wade in basically their prime was definitely one of the most dynamic tandems, perhaps the closest tandem to Jordan and Pippen as you can ever get. The bulls missed Deng's defense on James that game, as that absence made for a lay-up drill for James.I still kind of like this Bulls club more so than the 2010-11 ball club with the addition of Hamilton was a beautiful add-on, too bad the injury bug got both Richard Hamilton and the duly noted injury bug of Rose.

    Papa Arima So at the time Wade wasn't the 2nd most dominant player in the East? We're just going to ignore that he had already won a championship and Finals MVP in 2006? This is why you can't dispute with LeBron fans, ya'll take away all of his negative aspects but look at all the positives. Lol LeBron single handily shut down the entire Eastern Conference by doing that move. Let's be honest KD going to the Warriors hasn't really changed them a whole lot. They're still at the top of the West and had they not had Durant they still would've been at the top. I guarantee you this though. Had LeBron never made that move to Miami in the first place I bet you KD would still be in Oklahoma so blame LeBron.

The only thing that could stop rose was himself by choice. He didn’t have a healthy diet, so his body didn’t let him down.. He let his body down.
