Is there a tournament winning black templar player who doesn't know about this channel? 😅 My black templars are pretty nasty at 2000 thanks to this community... I'm dusting off my custodes now after the new dataslate and hoping for some good fun.. Initial thoughts are templars are going to go for more sustained hits (numbers) rather than any *lethal/critical or dev type wounds thinking that way I don't trigger their 4+ fnp, opting 12 attacks for Helbrecht w/+1 dmg SB buff, and deny their deep strike as much as possible.. Anyways, as always appreciate your videos. Crusade on

Vanguard is really good for Templars. The combi lieutenant is fantastic for the secondary game especially with the strat to cost extra CP

You cannot. Units in transports can't do anything while in a transport

D- for Ghostweave? For real? Adding 15 points to a character to make him a Deep Stike denying God is not bad. In fact, if you're feeling froggy. Put it on a regular Captain with a powerfist, bring a Lt. With Combi-bolter, now you have 39" long 18.5" wide area denial bubble that CAN'T be shot off the table by indirect, and can actually do something if someone gets close. Plus, good bait, since you will have 2 units that can both throw gernades, then shoot, then charge anything dumb enough to deepstrike into your back field.

Until a squad of inceptors drops 3" away and blows him off the table. Or any number of other units that have closer than 9" deep strike abilities. Remember it doesn't give any special denial bubble like infils do. The only use case I can see for it is to put it on a phobos Lt and drop him in your opponent's DZ for secondary play. ~Alex

If you're that worried about it, make it a Gravis captain. Assualt bolters won't kill him, and Exterminators are only getting him on overcharge. This means you're going to lose 1, probably 2, models in the process. Not to mention, I'm more worried about indirect since it's much more prevalent than deep strike within 9 units, and since by the time a unit can deep strike your infiltrators are probably dead from indirect anyways.

why dont you guys make relevant videos like tactics and strategies to improve game play?

They have and do.. just been slowly going at it now cause things are so new and keep changing.. if you go back and watch the majority of the channel, you'll see that even in the older versions of the game there is still tactics & strategy discussed that can still improve your game plan/play. Or maybe be more specific on which part you suck at most so it can be addressed more thoroughly, brother
