The rainy season has finally begun in the Kanto region of Japan, and the weather has become humid and smells like mold. This year, I used the black pine that I cut the buds of the other day as a cutting.

I hope these cuttings root for you. Can you please update us on this project in a few months time even if it isn't successful? I also would like to try cuttings next year as I have 9 Japanese Black Pines, 1 niwaki and 8 successful air layers.

Can this done with mature black pines also? Or better success with only younger pine.
