I'm glad Marvel is doing it well. To have an over-abundance of white characters would not be geographically accurate. The movie looks like it'll be one of the MCU's best, IDC what color skin the cast has. Everyone looks dope in this movie. It is nice to see Hollywood begin to diversify more and whitewash less.

I like that these are real Africans with real culture, and not just the typical slave-descended black Americans whose only culture is black American culture, which is inseparable from and defined by whiteness. True black culture is African, and I think this movie (based on the trailer) finds the right balance and the right way to channel native sub-Saharan Africanism into a modern framework. We need more of this in cinema and less urban hip hop culture. Then, maybe the western and eastern worlds will respect Africa, her culture, and her people more.

56t7ibbn 4tf5ui Hey, so although Black Panther was the first black character in comic (as far as I know), on tv you have Luke Cage, Cat Woman, Blade, John Hancock, the family from the movie "Up, Up, and Away," Blankman (comedy), The Book of Eli (if you want to count him), Columbiana (she was an assassin)...then you have side characters like the 3 black men from the Avengers movies, Storm (who is from Africa) and more black X-Men characters (animated and not), Bonnie (the witch from TVD), Heroes added a few Black super characters (Copycat was my favorite), there's The Gifted (any X-Men spin-off)....and there's a few animated ones too, like Static Shock, the guy from The Incredibles, Yoruichi, the cloud village in Naruto, Bob from Tenjou Tenge, Chouchou from Boruto.... Ok, and I'm being a geek. 😅 But yeah, check some of these characters out! (Esp Luke Cage!) I know there aren't nearly as many black characters out there as there should/could be, but there are still quite a few to admire 😊. You are even seeing more black Anime characters! (Which I absolutely love! 😁) Those are just the ones off the top of my head, but like I said, I'd start with Luke Cage 😊

Out of all the Marvel movies and trailers this is one of the best trailers I've ever seen everything looks clean as fuck. This movie is gonna be one of the biggest and one of the best movies Marvel will ever put out. Marvel been killing it. Can't wait for infinity wars though. Marvel > DC

Appearing first in Fantastic Four in July of 1966, then in a host of other comics including the Avengers. His first exclusive was in "Jungle Action" in 1973. This cat is way before 1980. Matthew Charlery-Smith - This movie was always going to do well, considering that he was one of the standouts in Civil War, and also has a high cult following. With that said, box office numbers are falling, with many just opting to get it on blu ray or disc, just 3 to 5 months later. Still after this trailer I'm expecting to see 800+ million, maybe even a billion if it is released to China first. The reversal of China releasing first, kept Home Coming under a billion.

DjSsaBackward I couldn't guarantee that because although he was the standout character in Civil War he wasn't in his own setting; he was a featured character fitting into the context of an alien in a foreign land. We could relate to him in Europe/North America but I wasn't sure how the majority White viewership would receive his African depiction in Wakanda with his own people. The first trailer looked too African but this new one seems to have all the elements of technology, nature, spirituality, and physicality that will interest everyone from the four corners of the Earth. Looking forward to it!

If you haven’t seen this movie DO IT NOW. Everyone is hyping it up for a reason. I came out of the theatre wanting to see it again. Saying this movie is “amazing” or good” is an understatement. It had comedy and heart-to-heart moments. Definitely going to buy it on dvd

Black Panther has more in common with the Alt-Right then with any of these people. Black Panther is the absolute monarch of Wakanda, an isolationist, all black ethno-state, all immigration, traditional values are upheld and he is willing to kill in order to defend. I just saw this movie . amazing, i had fun the whole time :) some commentators made it look like it was less good than it really is . i never felt so satisfied watching a movie for a long time . good pacing , light humour , innovative ideas, good soundtrack . the minus : some accents were off and I didn't get the warrior rhinos ... but that's it , everything else was enjoyable

TBH this is by far..........one of the BEST movie I have seen and I hope it has a part 2,3,4, and so on. YAYYY GO BLACK POWER!!. I just Wuvvvvvv it! I just neva freez when I saw it.

The Black Panther movie reminds me of that animated black history web series were a black man and boy travel through time visiting ancient black people and civilizations.

There's good to have mainly black cast on main stream movies, because it allows blacks to be able to feel accepted and appreciated in a world where mainly whites are given opportunity, and glorified as the top of the food chain. So yes this movie is a good start to mending the fences of hatered from people like yourself sir. The fact that you just questioned why are blacks happy to see themselves represented in a dominantly black cast, is the exact reason why blacks need to be shown more in main stream movies with big parts. Back in the days and still today the roles of blacks in movies, especially dark skin blacks are very limited to social stereotypes, such as drug dealers, hoes, violent, angry, loud, ghetto, poor, basically negative shit. So to see whites allowing blacks to be in "films like these, are refreshing. It's something that should be normal. But since it's not normal to see blacks on tv with positive and important roles, yes blacks are happy to see it being displayed in this movie. Whites are not the only ones living in the USA. Sorry not sorry Hun your America consists of tons of people made up of more than white DNA. Sorry so sorry to hurt your white privileges and your pre conceived notion that it's all about whites.
