i think people disliked it cause it was too easy at least for zombies but it’s only too easy if everything is maxxed and you have all perks and max pack in-game, i can’t say much for mp but campaign was incredible i loved 100%ing it, its the only campaign ive done so on

People will hate anything, same thing with MWIII. We will all look back and say that it was a genuinely good game and respect it for what it was….. A good game

The fact the main twist in this game is based on a real life illegal operation the cia ran, MK Ultra, and not some cartoonish betrayal makes the story much more grounded in reality and perfectly matches the Cold War setting.

Ive never forgotten CW. I Knew it would be the most decent CoD game we'd get until the next Black Ops.

I was going to comment asking how this game could be forgotten when it basically just came out. Now I realize it’s actually as old as CoD 4 was when MW3 came out… that’s kind of terrifying. Time is moving too fast

100% the best campaign, the connection you felt with Adler was insane. Like it really felt like we were brothers for decades, that we fought togetherand bled together. And it all was a lie. BO1 did an amazing job by saying Reznov was a lie, but actually your whole life being a lie was an insane plot twist. And the Duga ending was amazing, you killing all of your comrades is insane. just a bit goofy how we survive a rocket launcher shot right at our feet but i can't complain to much about a second ending. Especially because that second ending was executed so perfectly, it really makes you think about the whole concept, the Soviet Union just owning the intire world with their power, that would've been insane. This campaign deff got me interested in the actual cold war and everything like that. What an amazing campaign. And I will be so pissed if they change Adler's voice in BO6, he has the best voice and is one of the best characters in cod history while being in only one game. And If you want to see more from adler and his team and this campaign watch the warzone cutscenes where adler get brainwashed.

By what i know,his voice actor (Bruce thomas) is still working as adler,he's been also posting stuff about him on instagram. And btw,i agree,he's a deep character,no need to be edgy or hot headed to be mysterious and intimidating. People hate him because they can't bear losing in a game (despite being playing as a literal russian spy and t3rrorist),they just labelled him as a villain because reasons. All of the operations on BO are illegal,it was clear,so why aren't the others labelled as villains.

Especially considering most people didn’t buy it on release because cod wasn’t hyped around the infinite warfare time period

Cold war is in my top 3 favorites call of duty of all time. Campaing is a straight up masterpiece! I know the multiplayer wasn't a fan favorite but I do think that it came back to some simpler time were call of duty was more arcady wich I adore. Just one my favorite multiplayer and the maps were amazing in my opinion. Zombie was definitely meehhhh even tho it was quite fun. Just the most underrated call of duty even tho it had such a short development cycle. Anyway amazing Video

@@babykdotyt BO3 is good just kinda confusing, your character dies after the first two missions and you’re playing as Taylor the rest of the game but your memory chip thing doesn’t realise it. Some people say it’s the best though but I’m not sure about that

The only problem I have with this game is sbmm. Other than that the campaign was amazing and is probably top 5 cod campaigns oat. The zombies is seriously underrated and imo I think it has some of the best gameplay for zombies.

I got Cold War last week i believe and i was well aware of the hate around the game. But i knew nothing about the game except it was very hated. I played through some of the campaign, i will finish it eventually. I played a bit of the multiplayer (it was actually my first time playing multiplayer at all on any cod game), i sucked, but my team won. Amd Zombies. It was a whole different experience than what i was used to. But it was so fun

Well oh god... Just by reading the title of the video I would tell you that a game like this, which leaves you with a fatal error, with maps that lose FPS completely at random, the zombie mode where the characters don't speak because they didn't create 4 specific characters, weapons have modifications that don't make sense such as the modification that speeds up the reload speed and increases the magazine capacity is better than just increasing the magazine and just speed up charging, this is the only COD that both myself and other people have suffered to kill a person with a rocket launcher that gets too many hit markets! I've never seen a game where you use the rocket launcher and you have to hit the enemy perfectly or you go through hitmarkers galore! Scandalous! The story is good, I liked the reference to Cod black ops 1, I liked the endings but it DOES NOT justify the rest!

@@babykdotyt I wish, but I just went back an played it recently. camping is shitty, maps are too big, gun play and recoil is weird, it almost reminds me of waw hitboxes. extinction is ok but weird. and the campaign although being my favorite story, it's just kinda lacking in general. it's very fast paced, and it's like an action movie
