Classic Prestige System makes prestige mean something. This is HUGE for cod. Omni-Directional Movement sounds like it’s gonna be a pain in the ass HOWEVER so was Advanced Warfares System at Launch and that was absolutely a dynamic shift back in the day. So far Black Ops 6 is looking VERY promising in terms of giving back to the community

I think this is gonna be more natural then AW’s movement, you just press your sprint button once to strafe faster with maybe reduced accuracy and I think the dolphin dive will work more like metal gear solid v then max payne

What made the zombies mode so iconic was that each map had a specific theme and everything was put through that filter to fit the aesthetic of that map. Ascension was in the Soviet Union at an abandoned cosmodrome, so there's lunar landers, rockets, matroyshka dolls, and space monkeys. Green Run had a bus, electric plant, fog, lava from the ruined earth, and dilapidated buildings in a small Washington town where the real Green run tests took place Der Eisendrachen took place in a castle, had magical bows, wolves, skeletons, Der wundersphere and a Panzer Soldats. Voyage of despair was set on the actual Titanic ship, right before it hit the iceberg All of these had elements that fit their respective themes. Mechanically, MWIII Zombies plays well and has a sliding difficulty scale that allows players the option of ramping up or down their experience so newer players have a chance at building themselves up before taking on bigger challenges at their own pace while still interacting with other players in case they need help. The issue with the map itself is that it's generic in its presentation. We were expecting WWZ and got something less than that. Hopefully this next take on zombies has more thematic items to make the mode stand out on its own rather than feel shoehorned in at the last second.

In mw3 the good players are punished and the bad players stay bad because they play against other bad players and if your a better than average player, your still gonna be stuck at a 1kd

I haven't played any cod with the old-school prestige system. It sounds great from what I've been told, but I don't see how gun variants would would work. When you re unlock a gun, do you get all the previously unlocked attachments?

the only thing i didn’t really ab classic prestige is that when u hit that last level(whether it’d be 55-70) that u lost everything besides camos 🤷🏼‍♂️ i get it’s supposed to incentivize grinding btt ur ppl that played those classic cods like mw2-bo3 are like 21-30 & don’t have time to be grinding like that 😭

I started playing when Classic Prestige was the default & I hated it. Im trying to unlock gun mastery camos & this prolongs the process. Plus I fear going back to LVL 1 / low ranks with SBMM could be a nightmare if you get out in lobbies with ppl at max rank & refuse to prestige

If they were to combine the current leveling up system (one overall level across multiple game modes) with the classic prestiege system, I think that would be perfect. That way you can still reach max level and prestiege no matter what game mode you play. And if they have certain unlockables (like skins, camos, weapon blueprints, etc) that you can only earn by completing challenges in certain game modes, then there would be extra incentive to play those different game modes

Theatre mode made it possible for best comedic videos back in the day, love that it’s returning.

The sprinting almost reminds me of other FPS games like CS and Valorant. Instead of sprinting in those games, when you move side to side it’s called strafing. Seems interesting

It really reminds me of ground branch if anything, in that game you have two sprints: tactical sprint with your weapon up in the air and going full speed and the other one is kinda like how ink described it, in the slower sprint you have your gun shouldered and you can even aim or fire moving faster in any direction

Strafing is not sprinting sideways, it's literally just moving side to side.

Omni-directional movement sounds really cool to me, it’s already in games like R6, The Finals, BFV, etc. I’m interested to see how it’s implemented in BO6.

Sprinting in any direction will be similar to killing floor 2 but faster and diving backwards will most likely look like battlefield 5. that's the best way to explaining sprinting.

Dude I'm so hyped that theater mode is backk lmao back in bo2 I remember someone made it possible to watch a clip through theater mode n u van get a mod menu it was so fun in custom games N ONLY custom games with friends it was awesome I hope someone does that again

As far as the movement goes I'm wondering if you possibly can be blown back on the ground and get back up like BF or the Wolfenstein games.

One thing which I’m not sure about with the classic prestige system is weapon blueprints. Currently, if you purchase a blueprint for a weapon you don’t have, you can still use it even if your gunsmith “locks” the gun. If you prestige, and you lose all weapons, do you still keep the available blueprint, hence skipping the point of using an unlock token? Or does the unlock token give instant access to all attachments in one gun? I did play the older games but I was kind of scared of losing everything I earned (I was like 12 at the time) so if anyone could help give me some information about the prestige system I’d greatly appreciate it.

don't worry as a classic cod player when i first tried to prestige i tought the same thing but the only things you lose is your guns and attachments and perks lethals and tacticals but you can get them pretty quickly if they add back unlock tokens or permanent unlock tokens wich let you unlock a gun or a perk permanently wich means that item you chose is gonna be unlocked each prestiege as for normal unlock tokens they only let you unlock one item for one prestiege

what would happen to your paidblueprints because of prestige system locks content per level. like for example, you unlock galil at lv 35 but you prestige and restart at level 1 again. would my bundle galil varaint w/tracers still be locked aswell or only the base weapon? also what about our custom blueprints will they be locked too?

These all sound really cool, I’m just hoping the matchmaking system is better then what came before it and less sweaty cause removal of SBMM from general matchmaking and moving it to just team balancing is not happening I think movement is gonna be like how it works in ground branch but faster, in that game you can sprint in any direction and even aim/fire while running but when you do tactical sprint your character brings up their weapon and does a full sprint just in the direction you’re looking

I hope we get a set zombies crew, it's not a make or break but I miss the story elements and unique dialogue they brought with them

So my take on this is yes there are a lot of new players who never experienced the prestige system, but if this Black ops is anything like an old school cod then you will have more returning players because they enjoy the old ways. BO3 had a great levelling system as well, I think that pick 10 was good but Cold War had a great create a class.

In the first Titanfall when u prestige u actually got increased movement speed and another state buff that I can't quite remember at the moment I haven't prestiged in Titanfall in awhile

Movement like tarkov where you can pivot your head? edit: I love the classic prestige but with how they just nerf/buff weapons nowadays the permanent unlock might not work the best.

Classic Prestige System is the best and it makes Prestige’s mean something like I would hop on BO3 and someone would be prestige master and I’m like “damnnnnnnnnnn” but now when I hop on MW3 I see someone level 673 I’m like “great”

what we really need is less attachments and the 10 add-ons for each class like bo2 did it. all these 5 attachments on primary and 5 on secondary with tac equipment and lethal/tactical as well as 3 perks and a vest makes the game too easy

I’d say how DayZ does omnidirectional movement. Being able to run 360 and have head movement separate from those animations

A better example of Omni directional diving would be hell divers

i have not seen one person complain about 2 zombies maps at launch not being enough. One map is what we almost always get. Also, the zombies leaks are old news, not recent.

classic prestige system is goated because it gives us the choice. Giving the player the choice to make a decision is better than forcing everyone to play the same way

In my opinion the penultimate prestige master logo in the list of CoD Black Ops was the coolest in Bo3

They did a huge risk with Zombies in BO4 and it failed They did that again with Cold War and they struck gold again However they did some changes that ruined zombies for them but for most it was an amazing game gameplay wise So now we just have to see if Black Ops 6 does another huge leap and if they will land or if everyone will hate it

only thing i wish for is the guns an warzone combine in each cod cause mw3 guns are fire asl especially with the aftermarket parts. the guns from mw3 2023 goes to bo6 black out.mw3 2023 is underrated asl by far best cod i played now your kill streak kill count as kills towards your next streak i been having a ball.the aftermarket part for the ak47 made it goated!

yeah you can't really say that zombies is going to be bad simply because there are few Maps. For example BO2 came out with only 3 maps however i personally really enjoyed those. And they gave us transit which was basically 5ish maps in one full of easter eggs, it was (/still is) a blast and is probably to this day one of my favourite maps/modes. But that also means that these two Maps will need to perform especially considering what cold war gave us. However i have seen that there have been leaked cutscenes for zombies and they are in total around 30minutes long, so either we're getting a movie or the maps will be loaded with content. I sure hope for the later and that the content will be good but we'll see that soon enough. However one of the maps seems to be set in "Die Mauer" Berlin again which has me both worried and excited.
