I think it's cool that the group is called Pantheon. The bad guy from Black Ops Cold War was called Perseus, and Raul Menendez was called Odysseus. They were both heroes in greek mythology. The word pantheon means "all of the gods of a people or religion." So Pantheon could be the bigger group that connects them, and their subgroups leaders take up greek heroes' names as aliases. It would make sense.

I'm so confused about this, you've unified the timelines, why not do something with it? A veteran reacting to MWII noted that one of Shepherd's badges indicates he fought in the Gulf War. The COD wiki (God knows where they got the info from) implies that Laswell didn't join the CIA until the War on Terror though. As for other characters that could show up: Both Zakhaevs are active at this time. Jack Fletcher from MWZ was either with the NZSAS in the Gulf War or with the CIA on Terminus Island depending on when exactly the game takes place. I wouldn't be surprised if MacMillan (A character IW have seemingly forgotten) fought in the Gulf War. I don't get it, they've got plenty to work with and they just don't besides Imran Zakhaev showing up once in CW.

The team you apparently play with are delta but you also work alongside the SAS in that mission.

Just a reminder the events of pripyat in both universes take place in 1996. I wouldn't be suprised if Cpt Price has an appearence in a later mission showing what happens.

5:54 wouldn't it be the SAS rather than the Delta Force ? Helen Park is British and working for the MI6 and SAS accomplished missions during the Gulf War like the Bravo Two Zero patrol unit

U can see black ops 2 ending when Alex Mason survived, he could have done some surgery and healed with time in 30 years. Edit: The best thing to do is to wait because they can retcon anything and that sucks :(

Ok, so I guess it's confirmed that the ending where Bell gets killed in Duga but the nuke still went off is not the canon ending, and the "good" ending is confirmed to be the canon ending since there are missions that take place in the Europe.

In that mission apparently it’s a joint operation, SAS and Delta where you play as a delta operator alongside an SAS unit.

interesting thing is that they said in one of the missions you go in with members of the SAS, wonder if price is going to be mentioned and that could be connection between the series

I like it they are keeping the Cold War element. As long as it doesn’t take up my whole hard drive I would like to play it a lot wonder if this means they will finally add some campaign DLC to COD for the first time since we can do a lot more in this one. I have a theory about the playable character here it is : I think that the playable character is the mole that Frank woods and adler are looking for and it's a cia agent who is the mole involved in the meeting thing in bo2 when you shoot mason. This is because what they say about ur character is kinda similar to the cold war campaign
