I like how going into the quiet section, you can see Geordie being like "cut it Matt, cut it" with a businesslike sense of urgency and then you can see him processing the frustration for a couple seconds

In the bit where it speeds up towards the end, they play the riff 27 times before the first break, then 15 before the second, and finally 9 times. 27, 15 and 9 are all divisible by 3 27/3 = 9 15/3 = 5 9/3 = 3 Hence, 953! :)))

you can just count measures out, they play 9, then 5, then 3 measures in doubletime before going into the drop
I love black midi and the energy they bring to the music. The guitarist’s string broke and the drummers cymbal fell off because they were playing so hard. That’s true rock.

I can say as a drummer, while good technique and practice is above all else. Being physically in good shape will you give you a bit of an extra edge, this applies to just about any instrument.
Greatest thing to happen to rock since The Mars Volta, I can't think of a single rock band more inventive than them until Black Midi dropped Schlagenheim. And fucking Cavalcade? We're being spoiled.
