It could've been in remission at this time too, however. Chemo doesn't kill cancer cells, it ultimately exacerbates them.. ppl don't know that . It's horrible

Kenan's been on the show for so long, he seems bored half the time these days, and pulls it off just because he's very good. That said, I think he likes Black Jeopardy sketches better than most. @Anthony Not literally, but the exact date of their wedding is not known. All that is being said is that they were married before his death, which is kinda a duh thing to say. The announcement says 'wife and family were by his side' and that's the first mention of her that way . . . They've been engaged a year or so, but he kept his private life private, including his illness, so he coulda gotten married anytime. Some claimed his weight loss was due to a movie role but now it's likely it was due to cancer. Damn shame regardless of all the specs.

I like that. I tell people who lost love ones to not cry about losing them, but to celebrate the time they had with them. I thank god for the time I had with my loved ones! I do too! I saw this skit before I knew who Chadwick Bozeman was. I laughed so hard! When I read that he passed away, from cancer, shortly after, I cried (I went through intense cancer treatment 11 years ago. I KNOW how it saps one's strength and energy; not to mention, PAIN! HUGE respect for this man!!) I, then, researched him. His commencement speech at Howard University brought tears to my eyes. He was an intelligent, thoughtful, talented, individual. And THIS skit, will be watched, by me, at least a dozen times each year. RIP🙏 .

I have a feeling that Chadwick didn't hide his cancer from people because he was ashamed. I think he hid it so that others wouldn't pity him, and that he could live life to the fullest without people seeing cancer as a way to stop him or to hand out free roles. He knew his potential and he wanted to enjoy life without having cancer being in it all the time. He was so strong. Rip Chadwick we love you 😣 Wakanda forever 🖤💜🖤

People also forget that he could have been labeled as uninsurable and not be able to film anything if they found out. Movie studios are not the type to make movies if they can’t insure their actors if they get sick or hurt during filming.

@@BonesRodriguez I love to watch both of them. Sometimes whenever I need a different one, Keenan does a good job as Steve Harvey and Darrell Hammond as Sean Connery. However those two are my favorite skits. Chadwick is always my number one skit.

.....That's why i hate those TV commercials "heros work here" implying that all nurses and healthcare workers are automatically heros just bc of the covid 19 virus. I repeat: Your chosen profession doesn't automatically make you a hero. It's about your work ethic and your character. It's about each individual. It's not about the profession you chose. Working inside a hospital doesn't make you a hero. I've had plenty bad doctors.

The best Black Jeopardy ever. Chadwick killed it with T'Challa. Every single answer was hilarious, but that last one tho. Ha ha ha. Rest in peace Chadwick, your fire was extinguished far too soon.

He visited children sick 😷 from Cancer in the Hospital 🏥 while he himself was suffering his own private Cancer Battle. This one and the Tom Hanks one are exact opposites of each other, and yet they’re both perfect.

With incoming Wakanda Forever, this humorous Chadwick moment is even more bittersweet.

I am here again because unfortunately, Chadwick Boseman had died after a 4 year battle with colon cancer. Rest In Peace. Wakanda Forever 🙏

R Ree, "fid'na" is a form of the African American Vernacular English term "finna", meaning "gettin[g] ready" (to do something). "Finna probably comes from the Southern Black pronunciation for "fixin to". In the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I live, I've heard some Black folks say "fixin to" more often than "finna". Of course, not all African Americans use "finna" or "fixin to" when we want to say "gettin[g] ready to". For what it's worth, I've never used those terms and I've never heard or seen "fid'na" used before this "Black Jeopardy" sketch.

Boseman was a talented man. He rocked the role of Black Panther like no one else could have. It’s sad to see him looking so meek and sickly. To show up, put on a smile, and deliver those lines so smoothly while literally dying shows how strong and talented he was. RIP King T’Challa, Wakanda Forever!!
