It’s so disheartening to see how the Chinese are wreaking havoc in these communities by plundering natural resources without giving back to the community. Makaha, Chindenga and Makochera areas are the most affected places in Mtoko. It’s a wake up call for these local people to see that Zanu pf only need their vote and is not interested in changing their welfare.

Brilliant work Bustop TV. Can you please try to put subtitles so that countries benefiting from this can get an understanding of the exploitation happening for the benefit of their countries. What they are benefiting from is no different to blood diamond

I feel sorry for those affected.All the things said by the community is true.One blasting is dangerous especially when the houses are near the area that is being mined.Two- What i know that rock is expensive here in South Africa what about abroad so the company must take full responsibility of unemployment and infrastructure development in that area.Lastly there is no reason of exhumation if you can't fullfil your promises and the Company was supposed to give some incentives and build homes for those who relocated.For me i hate exhumation bcoz it's a disturbance of the resting person.

Blame the leadership they are the ones who allowed this miner to mine in mutoko no one cares about the villagers there is no one to protect them so its up to the affected people to speak with one voice. There should be land ownership this thing of saying state land is the problem.
