Made a Black Forest cake a few months ago for my grandmother’s birthday. For mine, I added a teaspoon of instant coffee to the cocoa powder to enhance the chocolate flavor and sour cream to the batter to mellow out the sweetness, layered it with a cherry mousse, added Kirschwasser to the simple syrup, and frosted it with whipped ganache.

Thanks a million for this cake recipe. It's a keep. Many times I tried this cake. Today my son's birthday I made this cake. It was a hit with my relatives. The measurements are perfect. I followed the steps and the cake was delicious and perfect.

Hello mam I made dis cake ...but after putting in oven ..cake burnt .. i hve Godrej eon microwave ... As per ur instructions i preheated n kept at 180 degree for 30 mnts in convection mode.. pls advise wat to do...
