Not really, you see because of a bad doctor, and mixed with some long bad medicine,i ended up not being able to walk, and now i am doing recovery, movement therapy, and that in my country can be pretty costly,so dont trust every doctor only trust how well they do their job,and their speciality, and how well they know to do their job,and the amount of experience they have, not the color of their skin,or their backround, believe me!

Tbh I don't even blame the father because of what he had gone through. Just imagine your wife died because a black doctor failed to treat her. Yeah, I pretty sure he wasn't being racist but just holding a reasonable grudge from that emotionally painful experience. Would you also hate the surgeon who made your close ones passed away? Not to also mention the girl said that Dr Fisher looks similar to that surgeon which the father might misunderstood as the same person.

Nice to see that you could move on from your clarinetist career to saving lives! ;) A very common misdiagnosis is an appendicitis and it can have deadly results. I made sure that didn't happen with my son and within a minute of the first doctor seeing him, he was also convinced. The operation soon followed. We had nearly left for a ten-hour flight if we had thought it was just a tummy ache. Had we been on that plane...

Dr. Sam Fisher is still wrong to insist himself to be the one to treat Mr. McCalister's daughter. Any child's parent's always have the right to choose the doctor they want to treat their patient. Regardless of their skin color, or for whatever reason. If he don't want you to be her child's doctor, so be it. Find another patient who would be happy you to be their doctor. It would be on her father's conscience whatever will happen to his daughter.

His chosen white doctor was unable to perform the operation successfully but this dark skinned Dr. Fisher saved his child.❤️ He learnt a good lesson never to judge a book by it's cover by looking down upon ppl he thinks are never at par with the whites...and due to this he almost lost his daughter.🤔 All the actors including the child did a great presentation to make this story worth watching. The morphine drug scene is good for the dramatic line. I worked as a Registered Nurse in a big hospital in Central Europe. We had morphine drugs in a safe in the ward. The key was in the pocket of the main nurse of the day or the chief nurse. At the change of the shifts every drug was counted by hand and the next main nurse have to affirm the status with her own signature in a so-called drug book. Believe me no doctor no sponsor - our sponsor was the state - so no government official - would get the key without the knowledge of the chief nurse. If a patient needs a very strong painkiller you have to document the medication, the dosis etc and to affirm it with signatures in the drug book.

This story also explains one important lesson. Racism is taught at an early age. Children do not see color or race until a bigoted adult teach them how to be a racist. Anybody who was exposed to this twisted belief grow up being one.

In 2014 I was given a kidney transplant but the doctor's sexual orientation created many new and difficult illnesses for me. I needed one stitch replaced and he extended my surgical opening by about 14". And he allowed medical students to perform the surgery. I had to stay an extra 5 months because somehow I contracted MRSA. I also now have a-fib, ascites, gout, calcium deficiency, medication errors, and several other issues that the entire medical community refuses to treat. Local hospitals are like a mafia family. And sadly, there is nobody report any of this to. The Grace of God is the only thing I've got to protect me. But He told me when I went home that He would take care of me. And He has. For over 7 years now. And the only Nephrologist who was kind and honest with me was a black man.

I witnessed something like this..but was handled differently..the chief of staff..told the father he was only one in area that could treat the lady and if he wanted another doc..they would have to be transferred out of state to nearest doctor, but would have to pay transfer costs..and insurance may not cover other doctor as doctor here was more than qualified..and in area and on insurances' list.
