I bought a new Echo 2620 X series trimmer last spring and did not like it one bit. I felt it was heavy, I didn't like the hand grip. Similar to what you are saying. I use Husqvarna trimmers and they just work, light and comfortable. Also I love that you give products a few tries before coming to a conclusion. Sometimes things may not seem good at first but grow on you. I love Echo stuff I have the multi tool with a few attachments I just don't car for their trimmers anymore. Great vid bud!

I don't mind the 2620T. It still has a lot of growing to do with me. The couple pounds difference between that and the 225's I have been using for years is huge. Funny but true, my right hand and shoulder is sore just from that extra weight. I don't see a lot if not anyone talking about Ugly Line in our Lawn Care community. This is why I thought I would try this as I use it. Comparing and working with both lines. Ugly Line is so underrated. It's a great line and like I always say, user friendly, easy not to make mistakes with. Thanks for watching Ken!

I love me some little yards. I have several on the route. About the only problem is with a 2 man crew we tend to get in each other’s way. Must be vigilant for safety!!!

I like the Ugly Line! It’s strong and it cuts good. Black Diamond works very well for my style of trimming. It’s all about finding the best line for your personal operation. 👍👌 Excellent series buddy!

BUSCH GREEN I appreciate it man! I was waiting for the final chapter in this saga before commenting. Lol That’s the thing with trimmer line. What works for one persons style of use, technique, and jobs, may not work well for others. There is a reason I have so many different types of line to use depending on what job I am faced with. The Black Diamond I have found has worked best in .105 for basic trimming on properties without edging with it. Edging with the BD almost always yields terrible results. The line breaking off at the eyelet is due to it flexing back and forth during edging creating a weak spot at the eyelet. BD is pretty brittle as is and once the diameter starts being compromised at the eyelet, it’s toast. Excellent video series though! I highly enjoyed the watch. 👍

@@barneslawntree4877 I really enjoy your opinions. Thanks so much! I did find the line is brittle and easy to break. I did not try the .105. If I have a heavy clean up job, which I might soon, I might try the .105 , just an arms length or so in the speedfeed on the 2620T. I think you might be right. If you are just using it for basic trimmer, knocking down tall weeds or grass, it might work better. For me, cutting edges in gardens and on sidewalks, just not working. Thanks for your support. I didn't like the Black Diamond line either. I like the Husqvarna Platinum, it flies fairly straight and is very forgiving if you run you line long.

Having a more forgiving line is safer for my use. I will stick with what works best for me.

Black Diamond is to course and doesn't feed well.

Hey, Mike! As you know, I'm not in the lawn care business. I watch A LOT of different folks in lawn care that do not like the black diamond. You have to go with what works, Brother. Not with what's popular. Popularity is most often times a fad. You guys are out there to conduct business and have no time for fads. Time is money and if you have to stop every few minutes to fuss with line then, the novelty has worn off. Go with what you know! Stay safe and healthy. God bless.

Its a thicker line but dont use on edge lol i use on edge in it left the edge line wide but its very good on weedeater it fits on some trimmer heads a guy give some line to my friend in hi give me some but its very hard to break it off

@@efrenvenegas3346 I just wonder how easy it will feed through the speed feed head when you tap for more line. I will just continue using the .95 ugly line. It is so under rated. Works perfect for me whether is heavy weeds or cutting edges.

Well the trimmer head i use its a husqvarna 525l but just for i well try on echo speed feed in tell you if it works

Nice square backyard. Edges are looking nice. I would do those all day if any where that small in my area. I'll Take the black diamond line if you don't want it Mike. Sorry to hear you didn't like it. Have to use what you like and works for you.
