Idk if you've already done this but I recommend going to a Stable Keeper every so and then to sell all trash goods to free up inventory space. Also to put other miscellaneous goods in your Storage for safe keeping

@@deployablelover Yeah I figured! Most new players first impression is "Too much items thrown at you and no inventory space" but you didn't really mention inventory space being a problem so I just thought I'd help you out in advance! :) Also another handy tip, every so and then when you do MSQs in BDO, check in with Black Spirit for quest that says something about "Inventory Expansion" iirc. You just accept the quest, and then talk to him again and BAM free inventory spaces up until you make it to the Calpheon area I think. Happy adventuring, I can answer any more questions on tips and tricks you may have in the future, so just come back here if you do! I am on NA servers so I can't really add you in game to help you out, so I can just help you out on KZread as of now if you stick around xD

Not many ppl know about the story in the game, i also don't know i m a "R" enjoyer, but i would say just try the new expansion "Land of the Morning Light" everyone seems to like the lore there.

Great video! Love your editing (sound effects e.t.c.) escpecially during character creation. I've given BD a few tries and really can't get into it. Though if you're doing a series on various games can I suggest trying Warframe? It feels like it's got PSO blood running through it with the random map layouts and enemy spawns e.t.c.

Hey dude! Thank you for the support and the comment brother! Yeah open to suggestions for sure! BDO is definitely a marmite game or a lot of people but I’m definitely some what sold!

Love the vibe, its great with some positivity. i personally enjoy the story of BDO quite a bit. But i will also be the first to admit that the first 40 minuttes of gameplay is hella boring (when following the story). after that however, it really picks up :D.

Only the devs can kill this game. This game doesn’t compete with any MMOs in the market. It has a niche audience that will always come back.

What's crazy to me is the game has been getting progressively less p2w over time. There's still some advantages, but nothing like other mmos I've played. That and all updates, new classes, content, etc are free.

I honestly feel a lot better spending money on the game in this state... hated the "want to play the game? cough up $300!", made me shy away from BDO for a long time in fact

As someone with more than 2k hours in the game, game gets better the longer you play. Specially with Pearl Abyss and how they are balancing the game. So much to do you basically have infinite content from PVE to PVP to life skilling. A lot of the new classes are super flashy and gorgeous to look at.

Endgame content consists of RBF, Guild League, NW and grinding in circles for hours. The PvE side of bdo is very lacking in comparison to other mmos.

@HotGoatz I disagree, dungeons are possible and life skilling is massive. If you only care about optimization fair. However bdo compared to other MMOS there are a lot of things to do

New worlds combat is the best, jokes aside I've never come across anything like it. 6k hours on it, the pvp is (while unbalanced usually) is just amazing. Aside from all the shit that game took, I'm still looking for a game with the combat of it, with not 1000000000 skill bars. It's not immersive at all.

I have 15k hours in this game and am sitting at 750 gearscore, but I couldn't even tell you what the little black blob is supposed to be. All I know is he eats my crons and that makes him evil.

Youd be surprise.. there are people who actually know all the lore on this game.. I know.. it's pretty insane to me.. some people are built different XD.

The game features predatory monetization and extreme F.O.M.O. tactics to keep players instead of continuously improving the game which will get stale sooner rather than later. Thought you should know.

Almost everything on the shop can be acquired easily in game through grinding, gold sellers are non-existent, and aside from outfits there isn't any monetized F.O.M.O. The game gets updates weekly, constant QOL changes, meta shifts, new gear, new classes, new regions, expansions.... all for the low cost of $0.00 You are clearly misinformed.

Only people who played bdo years ago say this stuff.. I f2p the game and its doable(yes u can get the game for free during event).. even pvp (yes I dont have a tent only manual villa buff) and lets be real here most MMO have far worst p2w monetization.. even the popular ones (wow gold for example)..if you want to p2w BDO its better to buy account which is far more cheaper than buying costumes for crons.. but then again what are you even winning? it's about the journey on accomplishing goals you set in the game (yes its an open world sandbox you choose ur endgame.. you can be a Zerker who stalks Shais all day..)

@@Thatguy003 The tent, literally the most valuable thing in the game can not be purchased in the cash shop. There are Fences that will save you 80 of a resource that in late game you will receive 1 every year if you're lucky anymore. There's with "step up" packs that start at high values like "purchase this one for 50$ and the next one will be 10$". They have 10 different login reward structures for extra F.O.M.O. to make sure you feel like you're missing out anytime you don't log in. Remove the dildo from your asshole son. Or play the game more than 5 minutes.

Theres something about this game.. when you thought u quit.. after a while u comeback.. despite its awful upgrades and rng mech. Maybe its the combat, lifeskill or the open world freedom.. who knows. And just a tip.. if you happen to reach mid game and got tired of grinding.. you can try GBR(guild boss rush) in ur guild and as a War Hero for other guilds.. that's an easy 1.2 billion+ in just 30+ minutes (yes you can do this once a day).. but yeah its better to explore the world first as a new player.. nothing can beat that experience.. play it at ur own pace.

eh, a friend plays it but i couldnt get into it cause it feels too generic

Calling this game Generic is like calling Minecraft or Fortnite Generic before every other games tried to copy them. BDO is unique in its own way, and the way Pearl Abyss has the game functioning with its unique combat, Life skilling, sea content, PvP, dungeons, etc. that no other game could compete with or copy due to how it would take A LOT of time and dedication to mimic lol
