Its good to see someone breaking taboo and telling the truth. All in this game is unbalanced, there is not skill nor margin to improve skill if your enemies GS difference is too big, or frames or class, it does not even make any sense trying to fight against some circunstances. Most of BDO veterans even the ones who defending Pearl Abyss in the past, they now really tired with all of this bullsh*t. Maybe if BDO community really talking loud about Pearl Abyss and major issues in this game they will overhaul all contents for better.

so to clarify the whole accuracy % vs flat accuracy, and evasion % vs flat evasion concept, I asked the DP discord and someone experienced to full DP builds answered: accuracy % and evasion % are calculated after the flat evasion and accuracy, with a few special cases - If the opponent has a 50% chance to hit you based on flat accuracy alone, then they use a +10% accuracy buff, they will hit you 60% chance. - If after this you use a +10% evasion buff, this will drop their 60% chance to 50% chance. - Special case: if you have a 100% chance to evade their attack based on flat evasion vs their flat accuracy, their +10% accuracy buff will not do anything. They will still hit you for 0 damage. - However, if you only have a 99% chance to evade, and then a sage uses their +18% accuracy buff and also debuffs you -18% evasion, they will now hit you 37% of the time. This is why sages hit so hard, they can skip all accuracy accessories and go pure AP monkey since it's best bang for buck

I can already see the new dungeon "Atoraxxion" will be dead too, this new dungeon is just waste of silver and time. The risk is really stupid, minimum AP DP requirements is really fake af, not to mention people already destroyed too many crystal in this stupid dungeon. We asked dungeon in BDO for years but we never mean something clusterf*ck like Atoraxxion.

Absolutely nailed it. And what's sad is we have all said most of these points for years and it just feels like we are not heard. So many vets have played for so long that we have solutions for them but they chose not to listen. Even in their dev letter, it's very obvious they dont play the game. For class balance they are asking the community to be clear 5 years later. Its as if they cant just take a look at arsha, or siege, or actually use their partner program/ look at relevant pvp players in the community. They are insanely out of tune with our community and it just wont change unless they change. It took them 5 freaking years to nerf wizard just to get replaced by sage, and now for the last few months sage has been unchecked and most likely will continue to for the next few years. And with the latest few pvp updates making no counter play because they are adding perma sa to a few classes, while trying to improperly buff classes they keep going in a loop of adding damage to the game and now we are at those consequences. Class check/gear check no counter play.

I hope this ripple effect of great content creators quitting this game continues. BDO much like other games are completely made to milk the player base of time and money. They are 1 foot in and 1 foot out from being the most draining mmo to the most fun mmo. People play mmos to have fun and socialize, they don’t play to be secluded and milked like a cow from time or money like LIVESTOCK.

Yes i've seen all the partners yield different suggestions for class changes and adjustments over the years, even small fixes that are very approachable and clearly good for the game but completely falls on deaf ears or take years to get around to when they aren't insane asks. I don't even think Arsha or Siege was ever a good standpoint as measurement to what should be changed. If there are so many guilds nodewarring at Tier1 but as you know yourself, so many guilds just place snipes at T2-T4 and you only run into the same guilds over and over in cycle fashion, doesn't that really just beg the question why so many guilds participate in T1 node wars but never go beyond? It's a pretty easy auto-answer in the game's entire design itself and everything I've mentioned that PA is seemingly unaware about.

I started playing a year ago, still loving it. PA really needs to take a look at the existing content, do reworks and sell them as new content. The next half a year will shape the future of BDO. I hope it gets better and you come back. In the meanwhile, have fun with other games :P

New Region - Mountain of Eternal Winter The new region has been in development for quite some time. It is a never-ending winter and home of the Guardian class. The region is susceptible to sudden snowfall and players will need to light a fire or seek shelter if they don’t want to risk a frigid death to hypothermia Guardian class will be immune to hypothermia in this region and Shai can use their buffs to protect allies along their travels 2 new grinding zones will be coming with the new region The first new zone is called Okjinsini and resides on the Golden Mountain. In this area you may face snow trolls/yetis The second new grinding zone is Murrowak Labyrinth and in this area you can find monsters that have similar behaviour to ants. In these “ant” holes you can activate the queen’s nest and fight against the queen whilst her Murrowaks flood in to her aid. The fight is described as chaotic and defeating the queen will reward you will better loot. A golden dragon also lays in slumber at the Mountain of Eternal Winter (is this a future world boss?) The new zone is planned to be released in Winter 2021

Great video. I'm very glad content creators like you are finally putting it all out there in one video so these devs won't have an excuse in saying they don't know what needs to be changed. The devs have been stagnant for a while now and if it weren't for Lost Ark threatening to eat their lunch, I bet there wouldn't even be these QoL changes lately. Transparency definitely has been an issue from the get go. The hid stats to create the illusion of choice in gearing, so you'll drag out the gearing process by not knowing what to get and they're still sticking to that MO even in that last announcement in defending why they won't release damage numbers. I still remember people debating on the official forum whether Nouver or Steel Dagger is best in slot lol. The reason they don't want transparency is because they don't want accountability. Having accurate numbers means you can see when something is bugged, (e.g. your crit dmg example on BS) and when you can see the output then you have hard evidence to critique the balance choices. These devs have the ostrich head in the sand mentality, like if you don't see it, then the problem is not there. They claim having damage numbers would lead to certain classes being excluded in guilds. Oh, you mean like Tamers? Or what about awakening rangers in siege? This game is best played casually, since everything about it currently can't be taken seriously. The peak game play was right before they gutted FG/SA in 2018, since having those on more skills masked a lot of desync issue. Without it, now half the time it looks like something not touching your character is still damaging/CCing you because they stripped away those defenses. This is the first game that I've seen where the game demands impeccable precision from the player in pvp but wouldn't offer the same in return.

I cherish the fun time I was able to have in this game. But all things must come to an end. I'm thankful for the great experience your bdo journey has allowed me to be a part of. You taught me how to really enjoy this game to its fullest. The whatever series always left a deep impression. They were enjoyable and passionate. Truly, thank you Kyrandis.

True, but the point is BDO have the best combar of all the mmos on history, at least for me.

I quit 8 months ago after my pvp guild disbanded (of 2-3 years). BDO has been the only game I've really felt addicted to, not so much for the hours I was playing as the more hours I put in during a day the more I disliked the game, but the feeling of having to login every day just to keep progressing. I was happy when my guild disbanded/friends quit, it felt like weight off my shoulders and I could finally stop "without letting anyone down". I enjoyed the organised node war pvp but was just burnt out. The most fun I had in the game was just before they introduced ap brackets/scaling, that's when it started going downhill I think. All build diversity out the window and the one shot meta was introduced.

BDO PVP has been downhill for very long time but now it becomes lowest of the low since they introduce new class with seasons system too. Pearl Abyss don't give a single f*ck to class balancing.

I want a minecraft experience in bdo - survival in the frontiers with rare resources not found but there and valuable and hard to get. However, at night, the mobs and weather makes survival hard. This is geared for life skillers. I wanna build shelter, get food, etc.

Just like morrolans video, people are mad at this video as well lmao man being a BDO fanboy must be sad. I agree with all points said.

To be honest, majority of BDO community is really toxic. It almost looks like every sane person won't allowed to criticize this game, we aren't allowed to have good contents.

Same, I only do the daily events and logout after. No grind or lifeskill whatsoever. I'm more into Genshin Impact and Monster Hunter nowadays.

i will admit that i do go to Arsha myself for the drop buff but i do also like to pvp and will not whine about getting ganked mid grind on arsha, you HAVE to expect it, its Arsha! also i agree with pretty much everything you said homie

Playing since beta as well had this exact same convo with my friend. Like 1 to 1. Exact same issues etc. Sad beautiful game. A person can like ignore a lot issues. But balance is just sad. Prpbably coming back after the class reworks as well.

I believe it's actually every % of eva/acc is a flat amount of eva/acc which is funny because the fact there is an unclear effect of these stats just goes to further your point xD

I was also somehow a variety player, but the silver per hour was always there, then progression and competition, throw out of the window by P2W, then there are so many cool systems totally outdated, is really sad. That and the RNG in just everything bothered me to no end until I quit a year+ ago. Still I somehow love this game.

Watching your streams of ff14 vs bdo, its clear that this was inevitable. Time to move on to greener grass.

I heard awa Witch/Wiz are not FPS dependent classes in terms of grinding. Basically if your class can do a lot of animation cancels then it's gonna benefit greatly from higher FPS, otherwise not. That's what i heard.

To me, what bothers me the most is the lack of social interaction and real PVP consequences. This is coming from an ex archeage player. I met a ton of awesome people there and did a ton of activities together. BDO feels like a singleplayer game with extra steps. PVP in the open world has almost no purpose other than killing people for the sake of it, steal their spot, flex your gear, or just throwing a tantrum and karmabombing someone. In archeage, if you were doing trading and passing PVP areas, you could be killed, with all your packs stolen, or making "illegal" farms just for a whole clan to swoop in and try to steal your stuff. It could be rough if you weren't careful, but I kinda miss that. In BDO you lose nothing, either if they kill you, your horse or anything, which means you also win nothing off PVP :')

yes there is nothing you gain from pvping in open world in BDO, people claiming spots or whatever is nonsense, no one owns the spot, what x player did to "grief" y player can easily be reversed if anyone is trying to argue some moral high ground. **That's the whole point of an open world game.** That person didn't have to forfeit their spot just because they lost a duel x times. There's no rule saying they have to do anything they could just continue grinding and forget you ever interrupted their grind to begin with, then people try to feed someone to mobs so they lose stuff and grow themselves further to be toxic. /shrug It's usually why i just say alt+c and get it over with or whatever, Idc to spend 12-15 seconds channel swapping or char switching doing something else than wasting 10-20 minutes of my own free time doing a zero gain activity while simultaneously griefing my own buff counters down that are either expensive/limited in conjunction with everything else running or going backwards and having toxic chat simulator with someone else. at least in your illustrated example there is purpose for PvP

About the desync. There is way to make yourself kill a opponent without the opponent even seeing you to move by doing stuff with your internet. For example I once died in NW while I was in safe zone. All the dmg came with 20-30second delay and I know how to reproduce this and its super simple and easy. I can bet all my money on the fact that once arenas come, top players are the ones who abuse this :) FPS issue been in game for years so its wrong to say they can't fix it in short amount of time, because they had all the time in world already and they already once attempted to fix it and reverted it and never spoke about it again

as a new player when you start making a lot of progress it keeps you motivated but end game where it takes you 100+ hours to even make any progress on any item then knowing the next item will take you another 100+ hours... also the unbalance between classes kills the game.

@@nereus2929 Thats true but BDO is a way more exaggerated advantage, high FPS lets you literally break the game by being able to cancel certain abilities animations early to then use another ability. It's not an intended feature, it's basically bug abuse at that point.

They really need to do something with the enhancement system. it's causing the biggest burn out. the RNG system for gear upgrade is so lame.

Also kyrandis for your transparency issue devs have said they wanted to hide as much as they could initially and make it a more immersive and discovery base experience as u try and error and discover as you go including gear and stats and what works for you.. Its dumb I know but its what they wanted to do since release of the game and I'm sure u know this.

I would like so much to put the whole team working on BDO to watch this material with understanding .....I've been playing from the beginning and I would still like to but I just can't, looking at the direction in which this game is developing. I loved learning combo with the main weapon and the awakened one. But currently a new character will kill you with just 2 skills from a distance ... the lack of transparency of the statistics has always annoyed me and the fact that they do not want to add numbers confirms that they want to have total control without our knowledge of it.

Sadly I have to agree with everything you said. Why sad? Cuz it hurts what bdo became. And I still have the hope that all of this stuff finally changed. At least there is now light at the end of the Tunnel. I’ve quit bdo for 2 years and now I’m back. And I have fun playing it again. But the most favourite part of bdo, the pvp, is sadly shit right now. Even tho bdo has such a good combat system. I really hope it goes into the direction since I loved and still love this game. And I can understand every player that is just burned out right now and need a break of it. Hope you and other players will return someday. And I hope that the devs give you a good reason to return to BDO

Fun game but PA decides to hard-capped things you can do. Example is Training since I do a bit of training horses. I wish there were more ways to get mats and also not through questing. Also for T10 mats the Fern roots are annoying asf because you are legit have to wait 2 weeks per attempt for a 3% flat chance... doesn’t feel rewarding doing the work to fail and attempt in like half a month later (English bad)

I hate grinding just for silver, i grinded map, mp, hp pot one after another no problem, but quit after 1st dfs at fogans (elvia) when I wanna go for silver on a B-grade spot

That's always been the problem with BDO since I played in 2017 (Quit early 2020). It has had improvements but still plagued with uncertainty and no communication while asking fo a lot in return. BDO is a great game for casuals but anyone actually taking it seriously isn't going to get the same commitment back. Everyone will agree that BDO could have easily been one of the best MMOs out there but it simply chooses to milk instead.

i feel you bro... been doing afk's now. before hardcore. from the moment they take out the PA 999dp its like, all the PA plan rotations destroyed.

I agree on everythng but on the lag advantage. lag doesnt gives you any advantage, that desyinc you mention probably on his screen he used ninja step away and you didnt grab him at all. But because he is playing like 1 sec behind or whatever, he teleported back you rour grab and got stunned. if he didnt had lag probably he would have just avoid the grab with ninja step. Yeah sure, it messes up your combo. but you got a cc you wouldnt get on a scenario with no desync so... overall its better for the non laggy player imo.

it's not a probably i have it on recorded video footage in older video mentioned, you can go check it yourself, my friend from SEA he very much enjoys his lag shield and constant +1000 points in RBF with like 620 GS gear, he also quit BDO because he found that to be funny and pointless to pursue the game seriously when he found it so "ez" as he so put it. everyone i've asked who's fought him said he's complete cancer because he's warping all over the place from lag desync. he lagged hard enough where the server generated a clone of himself for 1-2 seconds on screen, my officers and myself couldnt help but just laugh at what a joke the game was at that point. That's kind of the timeline as to where we all gave up on PvP because we started seeing the enormous flaws in the underlying gameplay.

Am playing her as well as main its still the same. The issue isnt only her numbers its her kit no range. She just sint as efficient as any casterclass and pve efficient classes. ım on 311ap kutum. still on end spots she still needs like a combo to kill 280ap mobs. while like succ striker withh less ap just 1 or two skills to kill a mob

​@@bayus8692 its ok Im a canoneer I serve my focus can defend my canons but like he said. Like I can nuke like most people but even with my 360 dp I just get nuked when caught once. Nothing special. MY strat shroud and kill 1 by 1. But nowadays with everyone play casters and having aoe ccs. Its hard while you have to calculate you cd etc. and because of lag even if you play like pefect I get caught middle I frame alot for example. You either take a secondary roll or if you are in a active competitive siege guild you play casters.I get away since I was friends with the guilde leader and have gear but Kuno in siege not he best experience.

And yeah its to soon for me to talk about largescale, but i want dedicate my time mostly for my main. And i still have no main lol :). Kuno lahn and maehwa listed. The problem I see with BDO is their development focus. It's clear that they want the game to be a PVP game, and they keep making content to feed that, but the PVP is arguably the weakest part of the game, in that it doesn't always work. Between connection problems, the class imbalance, and the AP creep that's gotten us to a oneshot/blowup meta, it's just not good. It gives me the feeling of them strapping a NOS and turbocharger onto an engine that keeps jumping it's gears and backfiring. Meanwhile, the game has other systems that actually work as intended but are just simply underdeveloped. - The majority of lifeskills work well enough, but haven't changed for years. - Grinding has continued to grow, and has actually gotten more interesting with what they've done with the Ody' and Elvia spots (but let's be real, grinding largely just fuels peoples gains to get better gearscore for PVP). - World Bosses could be fun if it wasn't just an exercise in spamming abilities. Anyways, it's been sad seeing some of the creators that I watch leave the game. It's actually kinda dampened my own enthusiasm to log in. See you around Kyrandis. o/

The main problem of BDO is Pearl Abyss itself, they never really played the game. I can tell it by how they makes every new class OP such as Sage, Corsair or even previous class when they comes out.

Bdo has jumped the shark. It was a lot of fun early days now it is a snooze fest, rng, pay to win nightmare.

The amount of veterans who want to quit BDO is insane, even 2 popular BDO streamer already quit the game in this year, this is enough to tell the state of BDO is total crap and messed up. People asking for more enjoyable group PVE content with fair PVP too but instead we got some crap that nobody asking for such as dungeon "Atoraxxion" and 2 newer class that only brokes PVP even more. For veterans it's not easy to quit BDO but it's not easy either to stay with this game. At this point i feel like just wasting time on BDO but barely enjoyed the game.

The dungeon was a great idea. *is* a great idea that people have been asking for since the beginning of the game. It’s rewards are just meh and it’s not quite as challenging as it could be. We also heard that there would be a dungeon that would be a one time run and another dungeon that would be infinite but if at any point you failed you would lose all of your rewards. Obviously they didn’t deliver on that.

@@FrostReave Not only reward sucks but also its not worth to do for risk because when you died your crystal destroyed. It really dumb, not to mention minimum AP DP requirements is a lie.

​@@FrostReave Challenging PVE but nonsense difficulty is really bad PVE contents. We don't need mobs who can 1 shot you even with 350+ DP. Not to mention SA, FG and some other CC can't even counter attack their attack, its insanely stupid for Pearl Abyss to makes dungeon like this. Also open world Dungeon is bad idea too, they should make dungeon per group so only you and 4 others in the same place, so other group will not ruined your game.

Never understand why people cant quit or take a break without uninstalling xD , u can stop playing n play other games n play it again years later when you feel like it.

I wish PA would hire you, lol,

Pearl Abyss won't hire real gamer like this guy, they only hire people who can milks money like EA employee.

I stop watching around the 27min mark and the look and your face... I feel you. I'm a Kuno main and fighting some class feels so depressing and I'm 642gs, mostly with all these new class that has like a 90% upkeep on protection where my protection is only during when I'm attacking, while moving I have almost zero protection. Not sure if you said this since I stopped watching but there stuff like Mirco leg at Castle, point 1 second of leg can mean death there, mob stuck in walls mean less silver per hour. The new dungeon is sooo dumb, watching my bunnies die to the dumb bird in one hit with 330dp and she lost a 100mill crystal, just made me so mad (normal dungeon, not Elvia). But yea resist in PvP is also dumb, can't even punish player for poor skills or lack of knowledge on the other class. The new 3 variants of the pirate outfit, very cash grab... And I'm a collector of outfit. My pearl inventory is full of outfit, I'm just counting down the days till BDO become like WoW I'm the guild leader of BUNNlES and I think I might drop this game as well. Atm Im not sure if I have the heart to tell them, I created a amazing community within this game but as much as I love them, I'm too tired of this trash game to keep going. Good luck to all those out there who still love this game.

trust me mate the random anecdotal take of "my friend with ping does well!!" doesnt make the statement true. i get ur legit hardcore burnt out but theres no way anyone rational thinks latency is an advantage. it makes desync *WORSE* u said it urself no? desync is always good i guess! i guess having an rtt of 500ms (HALF A SECOND DELAY) is a massive competitive advantage we should all VPN out of our own country to increase our ping!

Pearl Abyss don't make games... they make money

They've made just too many classes for fast $$$ meanwhile ignoring all issues this game has. :( I've never enjoyed PvP in BDO and now it sucks even more with "one-shot" meta. It feels like they got no any vision or design for PvP, they're mainly just adjusting random numbers and nerfing random skills and hoping it works.

if you get triggered off your patch notes imagine playing console. getting content locked shit on for 2 years

ive kept in tune with some people who visit the stream that are console and i understand it's like a world of a difference in gameplay and content releases even though it's the same game build just behind -.-''

Actually making people playing the game with same locked FPS is better than allowing people to unlock FPS, that because in BDO FPS = DPS.

And they spoonfeed alot for new player now and feels like old player effort to get that gear now feel worthless.. that one of the reason makes me quit the game

I've played bdo since release on console. The 3 pens I've made have been on 304 290 and 255. I had to sell them to gain some gearscore back. Its not just new players that suffer, rng is absolutely terrible. People will argue that those stacks were stupid for a pen dande, pen zarka and bhegs. It is beyond a burnout to literally grind relentlessly to watch the black spirit screw you over repeatedly while others make pens on 40 and 50 stacks.

In order to get my tet basi which is was worth 2.9 bill at the time, I had to swing 14 times. Once again would have been easier to buy one but why should you have to? I see the same item being made 10 times in an hour every single day. When it's literally screwing over people that understand the game imagine how overwhelming it is to new players to make one gain, while players that "earned" their gear are c15 and c20. Legit would never get any new player base if they didn't close the gap.

If you want to play FFXIV endgame hardcore the game is all about crit you can do rotation perfect and still parse bad so you don't run away from rng also savage is pretty easy pvp is trash

Gamers these days have no stamina KEKW. Been playing since day one. I'm happy the direction PA are taking. More content is being added bit by bit and the classes will be reworked soon enough. Ranked Arena season coming soon 1v1, 3v3, 2 new battlegrounds, 3 new dungeons coming soon AND 10v10 premade Battleground. They are heading in the right direction and I for one won't be leaving anytime soon (I've gotta prepare more characters for ranked Arena and 10v10 ranked). MMO's aren't easy to create or balance. You nerds in the comment section think that everything can be miraculously fixed in a few patches. Pearl Abyss will make BDO great again just give them time KEKW.

@Adam James You are the reason why majority of BDO community are really toxic, you are part of those problem who makes this game become sh*t and even sh*tier every year. You don't know what you talking about, if BDO veterans including me who played this game for almost 4 years become frustrated with state of this game and then we complain about all of this issues in this game to makes BDO far better, then who are you to judge us veterans? It's sad to see BDO fanboy like you keep defending all of Pearl abyss bullsh*t. There is no point to defends Pearl Abyss, they aren't your friend, they even won't paid you to only say "good thing" about this game.

Testing and Mysterie with BDO mechanic was a important part of it. I totaly disagree that its was bad. its was super good and people that do test and find thing got a advantage. Actual player learned the game ^^. It's not a problem. transparency was never a issue, its never stopped us from playing. on the contrary, it was motivating to do tests, to think about having lots of theory. knowledge is the sinews of war. I'm in fact sad that he's starting to reveal mechanics. All the work of the past to understand a minimum becomes useless. This is great for new players and Casualization. but obviously it is disgusting for the veterans who took time to master the game. and that in the end the new players finish with all the information in their mouths. Understand your frustration, all the veterans who saw BDO become just a casual game, a fucking themepark game. All those Carebears pve boys who are ruining the game with their voices. There is nothing better yet anyway. I'm not going to piss off doing 200 hours of crappy Themepark Story Quests like FF14( not even skippable), Daily quests and boring raids 3 hours per week.

Theres roughly 25 unique classes not including the succ/awak if you wanna double it. There will never be class balance. People need to stop expecting it. It is literally impossible. There will always be a current class or new class that does what your class does but better. Its just how games are when you introduce this many unique classes. If you want true balance then everyone will need to have the same dmg modifiers and all have grab and the same number of s and similar mobility in their kits. At that point every class would just be a reskin of each other. Balance is literally impossible. Other than mae,musa tamer and kuno every other class is in an average/above average spot and should not be complaining. If you play one of the weaker classes just pray you get buffs rather than beg for nerfs of other classes and expect everyone to be equal

this is simply not true, most games with that many characters can have balance, they don't have to be perfectly equalized, the point i'm trying to make here is that the imbalance is so insane and vast apart some classes and others that it has no purpose left, or the purpose of another class is elevated so incredibly there is no reason to check any of the other classes, or it overshadows so many other classes on the roster there is nothing left to use but said class since it is efficient beyond any other means. Games like Dota2 have 121 heroes to balance and they do an excellent job at it as every hero has playtime and quite a lot of selection easily found as they have datasets and trends recorded for years. Each have their own unique skillset, toolkit and none is a copy of one another. Their newest hero dawnbreaker is far from being OP broken and has like the lowest winrate for a hero that is new and "supposed" to be OP, but she isn't she's just kinda meh and regular on the hero selection, definitely adds a whole different hero on the roster for different gameplay as well, she doesn't play like any other hero out of the 120 others. Another example is FF14, 18 classes, with roles, all the classes are balanced equally in the sense they are within relatable grasp of one another for their role and none of them overshadow each other where one class is completely devastated into worthless oblivion, and soon to have 20 classes each with 32 or more skills to use, in BDO my character probably uses only a rotation of 4-5 skills in total as they are the most efficient, and half the other attacks are barely used or just filler gaps in between the 1-4 seconds of CD in between the 4-5 main attacks while grinding PvE. in PvP it's just select the ones with CC or super armor, rarely use the FG since people hit like a bulldozer that FG practically vaporizes or you get caught in some cases with new classes that just blink behind you constantly. Vindictus itself, every class has been tuned to perform equally as strong, the player skill there is what determines which one shines more than another, that game makes you feel like a hero, and not some waste of a grind cycle and become worthless just because you selected the wrong class because their toolkit sucked like in BDO. I could go on with more examples of other MMORPGs if you'd like, but these are recent and very much alive games, but like to not have an expectation that balance can't be had is just a shortcoming and setting the bar lower for games like BDO to get away with. And I'm talking relatable balance, small imbalances are expected, BDO does not have small imbalances. Some classes completely have self sustain, full heal, superARMOR+CC attacks, crazy mobility, invuln frames, that other classes don't even possess ANY COMBINATION of these traits is ridiculous, while other classes possess ALL those traits? Balance is pretty easy to set given the bonuses x class has and the other class is lacking in every department. It's not hard to find out, I think anyone would be annoyed having to carry constant 80-100 MP pots on their class or having to play carefully so they don't MP drain themselves so they can't use their skills vs. another class that doesn't have to worry about any of that, and that's just a smaller problem of a much greater functional issue with one class and another class entirely in its toolkit. Any amateur game designer, hell even non game designer can see that's a problem and can be fixed.

@@Kyrandis To magnify things a bit, you can look at the current top skirmisher that is Nova. She basically does everything a musa/maewha can do but better in every way. She's faster, stronger, has better aoes and range, can go into her pre-awaken kit that has the shield-class SA+FG block, and even has a ranged grab. There is literally no reason to be a musa or maewha as a new player or someone not committed to the class already purely on principle or aesthetics. Most just reroll, which contributes to the problem. I don't really like the idea of nerfs, but something needs to change. I personally tagged a sage on release due to the aesthetics, and I enjoyed the awakening even more(along with the gameplay), though I do feel bad about how broken it is now. The class reworks sound promising at the very least, as I still prefer playing Musa in the end, and would really just want to play classes depending on playstyle rather than efficiency, and not feel like I'm purposely dropping bricks on my own toes.

The game dont have much to offers besides its great combat and graphics. Most of the other systems are pretty bare bones sadly.
