I have had both of these machines for two years. Best investment ever. I too was spending a fortune at the laundromat and after covid was always leery of the crowd and using behind people. This is wonderful. You’ll love it.

I've done my research and can't tell you how excited I am to finally go ahead with purchasing my own portable washer and dryer! Family of 5! Our washers and dryers here at our apartment are horrible. Cat and dog fur, clothes not coming out clean or the whites getting ruined in the wash... Grinds my gears! Thank you for making this video. Love the accent.

We just got the washer and dryer for our apartment and boy is it a money saver and its way more sanitary! Our complex had people leaving the washer and dryers smelling nasty, leaving dirt and sand in the stuff. It was bad. But we LOVE our Black and Decker washer and dryer! Blessed! ❤️

I have this same model washer and dryer for about 2 years now, still working flawlessly. A great investment. FYI you don't need to attach a separate hose for hot water, you can just adjust the temp coming from the faucet through 1 hose. In fact, I don't think the hot water inlet on the machine even takes in water

9:47 When you are programming it.. see the blue light is first on HEAVY because its not blinking... then you set it to QUICK because the blue light was between Normal 🟦 Quick but it was BLINKING so it meant it was on Quick.... see it says at the top if blinking its the right side.. if not then its the left side.............. so you washed on Quick .. which is ok but its not Normal.. normal will take longer and wash better... and put your clothes in the washer before you fill it with water.. let the water run for a minute and then pour the soap where the water is hitting the Clothes so the water is hitting the soap and diluting it.. ............ Also your water setting...........use the cold water hose from the machine and set the machine to cold... then hook it to the sink and if you want hot then turn the sink water on Hot.. if you want cold set the sink water handle to cold... but on the washer always use the cold hose connection and set the programming to cold..........But this is a good review.. I know a guy that might want this setup. its helpful to see it all set up... you guys got the best one available including the stand.. you are all ready .. best thing is you can hook all this up to a regular hookup if you move into a house or apartment with hookups. .. it was expensive but its probably the best you can get if your apartment doesn't have hookups. oh yeah one last thing .. get a lint catcher for your drain hose going into your sink so the lint doesn't clog your sink.. you can get them disposable packs of 10 or you can get cleanable ones you don't replace.. I think get the disposable ones and clean them and a pack of 10 will last forever.. good luck now you just got to get everyone to do their own wash .. HA! 🐔

@@DeAsia1991 i'm surprised you could understand what I wrote. hahahah ... buddy of mine needs a washer like this so I've been looking into them. They don't have hookups in their old style apartment. This model is probably the best one. I think even if you had to move you could sell it easy if you couldn't take it with you. but its like so much freedom to be able to do a load after work and not have to go out. Learned on TikTok to put panty hose on end of washer hose that drains into sink to help catch lint to keep it from stopping up your pipes. I also use a mesh strainer just in case any gets through the panty hose! Just got this same setup but the smallest units. Absolutely love them!!

As long as you have the black and decker, larger than the 0.9 washing machine, you can use hot or cold water as they have both connections in the back.

Hi..so for the dryer you don’t need to put the vent in a window or anything? Just into that thing you put a little water in? Does it create a lot of lint or dust around the area you keep it? Also..the thing the wash and dryer is on..when not using you unhook everything roll it away til you need to use it again? Ok last question..do you leave the lid open after use so it doesn’t get that mildew smell? Thank you for answering when you have time and also I came across this looking for reviews because I’m an so tired of going to the laundry mat every few days or taking my whole day at a friends doing a few loads..it’s time consuming when it’s out of the home.

No the vent does not has to go inside a window, the water does has lint inside after every wash but not too much. You do not have to unhook the rack, it stays in place. I do not leave the lid open but I do like that idea also it doesn’t leave any funky smell. It’s really convenient you’ll love it.

How much were you spending at the laundromat per month before? Just trying to figure out how quickly you're going to make your money back. I'm guessing less than 6 months. Not even including if you have to drive there and all the time savings. Awesome purchase!

Literally between 35-40 bucks every week and depending on our loads it could be more😩 yes driving as well. See you understand! 👌🏽 this was definitely the best purchase!

That’s funny you ask that because I did have a hard time at first pushing it through, but I literally have to push against the side of the rack to squeegee the washer inside. After awhile it goes through perfect 👍🏽

Thank you for the review!!! I bought one! Love it! It uses lots of water!!! Wash most everything on cold. I add hot water on top for sheets, pillow cases, and towels with a pitcher / bucket! Blankets are a little big...a twin blanket or throw just makes it! I mix two / three tablespoons of tide clear in warm water and pour in on empty first, close lid and fill cold a little! Open and put clothes in! Push pause / start again and I'm good! Large wash is best! No downey as it gums up washer life! Downey scent beads are great though! I actually drain the rinse water outside on an extra extension hose and water bushes / plants outside! Thank you for recommending! Love, love, love it and got big discount from HomeDepot and payment deferred! Yes!

Hi I believe your supposed to put softener in with the detergent, only because it has no softener place, like it has a bleach sign. This is what I do and afterwards you can smell it on your clothes so I’m guessing it worked 👍🏾. I hope this helps lol.

Hey there, I've been using washers like this for years. Just a little tip, you use those detergent beads. They can gunk up the vents and even the pump to the drain hose and that's a hassle you don't wanna deal with.

What about powered detergent? Doesn't the beads dissolved, how can it gunk the vents and pumps to the drain?

@@monie5490 Beads have a hard time dissolving fully, many in traditional washers just get pumped out, but they can still cause gunking when used too often. As for powdered, it says it's fine for that. Liquid would still be the best but you should be okay.

I just set up my 3.0 B&D washer & 3.5 B&D dryer today and I'm loving it, it washes very good and dryer it may take longer but it gets the job done. So I've purchased the rack but I'm reading it won't fit my 3.5 dryer since it will only fit 2.0 size ? Do you know what rack will fit it ? How loads have you done in a day ?

My washer barely fits inside my rack, we have to give it a big push just so it doesn’t sits out. Also we have to pull it out before washing so honestly it might not fit perfectly.

I just bought mine from home depot I got the 3.0 cubic feet one for 2 bedroom apartment I’m do a permanent hook up cause I’m to lazy to keep pulling out to connect to the sink🤦🏽‍♂️😫

I pour the bleach inside the washer machine because there’s no particular place it says to place it.

No I just got it and everything is working great! So far.. make sure that bottom plastic thing is screwed on tight as well👌🏽 underneath the washer.

Hello! I wouldn’t put a queen, I only would do a twin. I placed a queen and after the spin cycle it was still too wet. Also it took forever to dry so I would suggest a smaller comforter.

That’s actually a great idea because my water pressure is kind of low which makes it takes long to fill up, so manually wouldn’t hurt👍🏾

It takes about 30-45 minutes it takes long but I’d rather be at home doing it than someone laundromat

So don’t use your dishwasher same time to increase the water flow
