Always make sure it has enough airspace around it. Don't put curtains or blankets on it while its running. Make sure it is vented all the way outside.

I stretch an old pair of panty hose or a panty hose stocking over the end of the hose that you put against the window in your video. I use a rubber band to keep it secured on the end of the hose. It collects the lint and you can clean it out when full and reuse.

I have the Panda dryer, also, for six months now. I have mine in my bathroom sitting on the second tier of a put-together shelf from Costco, it rocks a little. I don't vent it in the winter because I need the moisture, I also use dryer balls and not sheets. The only thing I dislike about it, is that it nearly draws 15 amps by itself. Nice to hear yours has lasted so long.

I'd recommend a semi-rigid metal/aluminum vent hose. The vent hoses get really hot when you run the dryer and those plastic ones look pretty flimsy. I broke down and spent 700 bucks on a compact Whirlpool dryer last June. it's like a regular dryer but smaller and cute but still heavy duty. I stick the vent hose out of my kitchen area window and it works perfect, no humidity or hot air blowing in, just the fresh smell of fabric softener and the window screen catches all the lint. Hee hee!
