I purchased mine from Lowe's online. And they automatically added the recommended hoses to the order. So, I assumed that the hoses did not come with the machine. To my surprise they did. As of right now, I haven't found the right faucet connector, but I have used it 4 times. I just manually fill. It's still beats going to the laundromat mat. As of right now, no leaks because no hoses are attached. But can't wait to have everything properly attached. I'm very happy thus far. The clothes get very clean

Yes, it's a good machine, but the hose connector to the faucet is for the old style faucets, so I had to find a connector and it doesn't hold water it's not filling the machine. I had to cut the bottom of the water gallon and put the hose through it to avoid water splashes.

It turns out that the quick connect adapter that came with it actually does fit my faucet. I had to remove the rubber gasket because of the external threads, etc. The manual wasn't too clear to me. And thanks to another KZread video, seeing how someone else set up theirs, I was able to figure it out. Also have you tried tightening the adapter with pliers or a wrench? Because it will help prevent any leakage. Ours hands won't tighten it the same. I tested it without using the pliers and there was a little leak. However, after tightening with the pliers, no more leaks! Make sure not to over tighten as the instructions imply.

Exactly, it's difficult not to over tighten, so I am OK now with my set up with the plastic gallon over the faucet/hose connection.

"plumbers tape" or a similar product might help with your sink spraying water everywhere. It's applied on the threads (the parts with ridges)

I have the 4th one now - the previous ones were breaking up and they were replaced - have an extended warranty.

I originally got the 0.9 cu ft but returned it and got the 2.0

After reading many reviews, they stated the Black & Decker portable washers there were many leaks but it was mostly the 1.6 cu. ft. machines, and some of the 0.9 cu. ft. machines. Have you had any problem with the machine? I like this machine the best but am nervous about the purchase. It seems to be the best quality. Thank you 🙏🏻

@@bellaapple2166 Yes I purchased this 2.0 Black & Decker portable washer. I ordered it from Amazon and I have not had any problems whatsoever so far. The important thing is to not use the hoses that come with the washer. They are really weak and you want to get some stronger hoses. The quickconnect comes with it also and is very helpful to adapt to your sink. I have used the washer about 20 times so far and no problem. Let me know if you have any other questions?

My brother will get them a stronger hose tomorrow like you recommended. It looks good I am now waiting for the Black and decker dryer to arrive. The capacity is good. I would suggest to use the cold water connect for the hose. And I cut the plastic water gallon to use around the faucet to avoid splashing - cut it half and put the hose through and secure around the faucet. I could find the right adapter for my faucet - they all are too short.

Ahh!! FYI thats not where you put the detergent! Thats the lint filter. The detergent goes in the square compartment at the top. I have that exact same washer.

What is the part called that you had to go but to attach to your sink ? I have to do the same thing because my faucet is weird !

Just go to the hardware store and tell them what faucet you have and what do you need to do. I bought a connector for the hose to connect with my faucet. Then I cut the plastic water gallon half and put the hose through it because the water was sprinkling around.

I would not. Home Depot don't have this kind of adapter. I bought it in the small hardware store Ace.

Can you fill up the water using the shower head rather than connect it to sink faucet ?

Maybe you can in your bathroom, just try. It doesn't matter how you will put water in your machine as soon as it will be safe.

TY for the video but it is not a HE machine "high efficiency" so use regular detergent in it.

I returned a dryer - was not a good idea to have it in the apartment. Too much moist and heat are going to the room. I am OK to use a dryer in a building laundry room.

Since you only used one hose did you put a cap on the other place the hose would attach in the back?

Mine came with two hoses, Hot & Cold. It also included a cap in case you only want to use one hose. Instructions recommend when using one hose to attach to cold inlet and cap the hot inlet.

Yes, the shippers broke 4 of my machines. I have an extended warranty and Black and Decker was replacing my machines. Don't take it, just complain and make them (maybe the delivery company) to replace it. The machine supposed to be not loud.

The plastic bottom cover plate is a bit too wide to weave into tabs underneath the machine and we can’t find a hole to screw it to the machine 😕

I think I really like this one, but can you tell me where to get the hoses and what to get please ( you mentioned the ones that it comes with aren't very good.)
