Fr my coaches sometimes put us against a black belt but the black belts are holding back like the most they can do is 45 kick and they have to do it lightly but they're still fast as hell

Its not about the belt its about the expirience amd knowledge look i was in taekwondo and im an yellow belt i fought an blue belt and won why? The guy was out of my weight class and 2 heads bigger than me but i used this to myself and destroyed him i was waiting for him to attack and set his foot down after he set it down the exact moment his foot touched the floor i launched my kick then i got aggressive amd stopped the same again and again till i won

Give respect to both the black belt didn't harm him he treat him like a brother and the yellow belt is ready to fight with him without any arguments ❤❤❤❤❤

There is Sport teawkondo and Combat teakwondo, combat teakwondo focuses on real fights but this is the sport version so don't be to dissapointed

In my taekwondo class, we fight without any equipment to protect our body 💀

Jam in blue and in my country Egypt we don't afraid of a belt colour, just train well and practise alot that helped me so much in my tournaments

@@BullshitingMyWayToTheTop In my opinion you can use like the balance for kicks you learned from karate( I was on shotokan too) like when I started Tkd I already was pretty good on the kicks but in tkd you learn different things and techniques and I’m pretty sure you’ll be great at taekwondo

Don't worry, unless it lists that its full impact, you're usually gonna be fine. Coming from someone who does karate, our tournaments usually are split between belts (yellow against yellow or orange). And even if you do somehow get paired with a higher belt like a brown or black belt, they'll probably win yeah, but they'll most likely just do light contact. Be relaxed and confident, take in all the information you can in your tournament so you can walk out better then you were coming in, I'm sure you'll do great.

No it's a match according to weight so they are in the same weight catagory

No matter he black belt matter is your training

This shows that we have to do more training for more results

Mostly guys ,belt doesn't matter what matters is your strength and your techniques .
