For those who don't get it, That is called BUTOH. Butoh was a movement that began in Japan in the late fifties. It was rebellion against Western dance and Japanese Traditional dance. It also has it's roots in German Expressionism.(Die Neue Tanz) Don't talk trash about things you can't understand. Go online and do some research first! BUTOH - BUTOH- BUTOH

I thank my mother every day for having a great taste in music, because through her I got to know this miracle called Björk. If only she got more recognition, instead of all those worthless pop singers who are only looking for money and have no appreciation for lyrics and even the music itself, for instance. This is real music, you guys!! It's time for the rest of the world to realize it. This and rock music of course.

+Yaara C well i wouldnt call it "real music" but i get what you mean. In terms of musicology i believe that Björk is far ahead of our time like Mozart or Bach was. She is a pillar to the futuristic music and compositions.

She got lots of recognition. She just went off her rocker after Volta. In my opinion that was her last great album. From there it just became random noise. I miss Bjork from the early days 🥲😓😢

I was really moved by the dancer trying to get up off the sand. I'm disabled and I have bad arms and it made me relate to the awkwardness and struggle to get up. the bit with the marbles in the rain left me with a nice image. very pleasant with deeper unspecified undertones. Nice video!

True art outshines expensive production methods every time. The simplicity of this video strongly emphasizes fine emotional details without overpowering the audio. A subtle yet strange & powerful video that pays great compliment to the song.

So how does such a beautiful, passionate love song go in one ear and out the other of so many people? See to the core of the being, passed the skin, bones and muscles to the heart. Their is only one race. The human race. In all it's rainbow shades. So let's "enjoy each other now". Let's celebrate up close and personal. We don't have to be "like" each other. That is counterproductive to diversity, which is the ONLY soul of life. We cloister in blackness, whiteness to our detriment. Love!!!

Bjork knows Stymphalian birds (Greek: Στυμφαλίδες ὄρνιθες, Stymphalídes órnithes) a group of birds in Greek mythology . The Sixth Labour of Heracles ... Athena, noticing the hero's plight, gave Heracles a rattle ( rattlesnake ) called a krotala, which Hephaestus had made especially for the occasion. Heracles shook the krotala rattle and frightened the birds into the air. Heracles then shot many of them with arrows tipped with poisonous blood from the slain Hydra. ... Peisander of Kamira (Camira), however, says that Herakles did not kill the birds, but drove them away with the noise of rattles. The Argonauts later encountered them.

@81856686 If you are talking about her voice, I don't think they could be more different. Bjork's voice is incredibly powerful and can soar like some strange bird, while nico voice is a lot more raw and more restained (not there is anything wrong with that, I love Nico's voice). You have good taste though, if you like both Nico and Bjork.

Isadora, so close to Isobel. Now I'm wondering what to name my first daughter. But yes, when I first heard the first part of the lyrics, I thought it was about a S/O, then I thought, oh, she's just talking about herself, and getting older. But perhaps it is about her daughter. It is beautiful regardless
