Yesh definitely being in touch and so close with nature was awesome It was so brave we saw it a lot more than the footage we captured

Great video. I did a garden camp last year and a fox cub stuck it's head into my tent and was arms length away. It was magical unfortunately not enough light for my camera to pick it up.

Watched the vid last night liked the look of your stove ordered one straight away from Anazon , came this morning , just tried it boiled a crusader cupful of water in about 2 mins, cracking little stove . Really enjoy your videos.

Thank you. Yeah worked weekend, been volunteering 3 nights a week with Scouts. The kids loved the Fox it was so brave coming up so close.

Thanks Sue, yeah I had a bit if time to pack and lots of new gear to use. Carrying my tools on my belt saved space and wright in the pack... was a nice and simple night, ruined by the unexpected rain.... but persistence paid off and trust in the gear

I have seen all the vids of this camp now ;) I still think its a shame Micks camera wasn't running whilst his tea got snaffled lol. I noticed you have some black burnt food marks at the bottom of you billy, I don't know if I have suggested it before but I always take a little sand out with me for an eco friendly pot scrub, works like a dream on stainless steel :)

What opinel knife did you get? Just start to camp with the kids and am looking to get a nice little knife for chopping bits up when cooking but is a good sensible all round size.

Hi mate, I got a no.5 if you want a reasonable all rounder a no.8 would probably be a decent shout .. However, I have dedicated knives for food and work.... I dont like to mix.... but as long as you oil them with food grade oil you can. some food prep and small whittling, feather sticks etc

I dont think the Hammock Set Up would fit in... However... I think if I utilised the 2 Strips.of MOLLE/PALS underneath with a Dry Bag and my Cinch straps I could get away with it.

what do you think to the jungle sleeping bag mate? Looks like a decent size from your video other day.. let me no if it keeps you warm lol.. I may invest... That rocket stove is mental mate looks wicked.... I do love a chilli con carne... great vid mate wicked footage o the fox ....

We had heavy rain overnight... the tarp set up held out however I wasn't expecting the rain so the ground Tarp got everything wet. Which wasn't a fun experience

🤣🤣🤣 it's part of the fun checking wether you can persist and trust the gear. I do...and rightly so... aside from how I set up... for a dry night it was comfortable night I manged to resist the temptation of joining him in there. Enjoyed this 1

Take this video down! It does nothing for your brand. First, why set up a shelter if you didn't expect rain? Obviously, if you layout a tarp, you should fold it back over your gear IN CASE IT RAINS! Leaving it out, under the eve of your shelter, uphill of you, and you're surprised that you you and your gear are wet! You're better than that!
