wonder if youre able to pull the dust out if you use a metal bit instead of the wood routerbit the metal bits are spiraled so they might put the material out while cutting it nice idea though , i might use it myself

does this produce a slot the same depth all along whereas a biscuit jointer produces a slot similar to the shape of the biscuit ?

It produces of course a slot with a retangular section. So there will be a bit more of a hollow space around the bisquit compared to a slot done with a proper tool. But for me it worked fine. Don't need it really often.
