My baby girl Harley, was born without a left arm and her intestines on the outside of her body, had spinal fusion surgery on 10 disc it was hard but we did it.Harley graduated high school Saturday and we just started a family youtube channel together she loves all the support in the comments. ❤congratulations on your baby boy.😊

As a Mama of two NICU babies, I just wanted to hug you! It is SO hard when your baby is in the NICU. Even when you know your baby is taken care of and where they need to be for the care they need, nothing anyone says or does seems to help. I’m so glad your precious boy is doing well and home now. My little sister had three prem babies and decided to put herself through University to become a NICU nurse, she then went back and is now a ward nurse and is able to be the one who goes into labour/delivery if theres a problem with someones little one... amazing job they do. Anyone else cry when Lucian first came out and first cried?! Omg I’m sitting here drinking my coffee all choked up because I know that feeling and it’s indescribable. Jade your birth story is almost identical to mine except I was 2 weeks early. Otherwise almost identical with my son going to the NICU with similar issues. I know the long days waiting for him to get well and staying the whole night in the chair next to him. You were a champ in labor!! You were made tough to take on this situation and you make such a great boy mom. Having a son is so special 🥰

How does a baby appear to be a c-section baby?

@morticiaaddams4699 it's when they don't show signs of a natural birth. With my first son I had a natural birth and he had some of the cone head shape, and certain birth marks from pushing. My second son was a c section baby so his face and head weren't smushed or coned, and he had no birth marks. Just depends on the birth and what happens during.

@@morticiaaddams4699 their heads usually aren’t misshapen, and they usually don’t have marks on their bodies. i. e. My oldest daughter was a natural birth. She had forceps marks on her face/ head, her head was slightly cone shaped from trying to squeeze out. ☺️ My youngest daughter was a C-section baby. Head wasn’t cone shaped, no marks on her face, head, or body. ☺️♥️ Little Lucian looks pretty perfect….no cone head! 😁

Congratulations! He definitely is a beautiful baby. When you were talking about, didn’t know before if you’d be a parent or not, and now you look at him and you wonder how you ever got along in life without him. You won’t even remember life before him. It’s a beautiful thing.

My heart breaks for you both. I am crying here with you. Everything will be ok. I remember having my daughter, 34 years ago. She is still my baby. May the Universe grant all of you with blessings of peace, love. Many hugs!!!

Honestly it was a team effort that kept me so focused. Between Dallas holding my leg and cheering me on, the amazing nurses, and my doctor’s soothing and encouraging voice I was in such a positive space. I pushed for 2 hours 😂 but it seriously felt like 20 min.

Its so lovely seeing what you’re like as a couple. We obviously don’t really get to see much of who Dallas actually is but its so touching seeing him being this doting father. When we was telling you to watch his knee ❤ I’m so relieved and happy that everything is well and he’s home with you now.

He seems so aware for a newborn! I love that his going home outfit was a Halloween one. ❤❤❤

So many cute moments. I went into labor and felt the same way about the lack of contractions. Went to work filled out maternity paperwork boss kicked me out, made me go the hospital. Lol Dallas’ reactions are priceless too especially during the first outfit home. he’s normally pretty straight faced and quiet. And Lucian was so chill through everything. What a cutie! Congratulations! 🎉

I have been following you (and your pregnancy) for a long time. I was also due in May, however, I had to give birth a little earlier at the end of April due to pelvic complications. I also gave birth to a baby boy ❤😊 seeing your son being placed on your chest after he came out of you brings back a bunch of emotions, there is nothing like it! The warmth, the happiness and the anxiety, and of course the love. I wish you all the best and hope that you will all be doing well!

Congratulations! Entered into this with a little trepidation, bc depending on who you are, sometimes birth stories trigger a bit of PTSD, esp. if your own might not have gone great. But I gotta say, the moment you're in the back seat, bringing him home, I might've teared up a little bit. No, YOU'RE crying. Seriously. So happy for you all.

This is true vulnerability and transparency … There is no typical social media facade they front. Instead of them putting out a story of how everything went perfectly, leaving out the hardship, they fully embrace true life which always throws unexpected curves balls. It’s refreshing to see “REAL” people in social media today. Life is not for the faint of heart. It’s hard but we can find beauty in anything if we choose. I commend them on being their true authentic self and allowing us the privilege to journey with them. I send peace, love, happiness, and high frequency to everyone reading this. I totally empathize with your NICU experience. My son was born in December and came out unable to breathe. I didn't get to even hold him before they had a team of people around him trying to revive him. Luckily he has made a full recovery! But it is hard to mourn the postpartum experience you expected when it seems like everything went wrong. ❤️ Love you Jade!

First of all, congratulations! I too didn't think I was going to be a mom, but here I am honored to have a spunky kiddo. The mom in me kicked in the other night at The Cure show when two teenagers were being treated a little rudely, and I stepped in to help the teens. So happy for the both of you.

When i had my daughter (my 1st born) she was put in the NICU because she had jaundice bad so she was taken away after holding her for 3 minutes. She was put in a incubator and had wires all over her and an I.V. which broke my heart seeing her with this wrist brace holding all these wires and tubing. I was only 17 when i had her so i didn't know what was going on, she was released 4 days later, i was able to stay at the hospital with her for those few extra days. I was so happy i could leave the hospital with her. Im sorry you werent able to take your son home. Congrats on having the little gremlin, watching him go on your chest made me tear up so much!

All I would do is sit and watch him, too. They do still your heart, don't they? My sister was the one that always wanted to have kids and she has 3 and I never thought about kids. Neither my husband or I ever really thought we would have kids...we didn't get married until late 30's... and we had our son a few years later and he is our whole world. We love him so much and couldn't imagine life without him now.

First of all. Lucian is absolutely precious!! He has the sweetest face and beautiful skin!! I didn’t have svt as a child but it reared it head in my mid 30’s. After medicine for 6 years or so. I finally did a heart ablation. It def was successful. No SVT now for 3 Years. ❤️❤️❤️ Mine was caused by sudden movements and gravity. Weird I know. Best of luck I know he is going to do very well!! Adore every second it flies by!!! 💫💫💫

What a wonderful video! So heartwarming to see Neens sleeping with the baby!..I felt the same uncertainty before my son was born. I was sure I would love my Siamese cat more than the baby! Ha! When we got home, we put our new son in the middle of our bed and let Ichabod the cat sniff and explore him. After about 5 minutes the cat fell in love with him, sleeping next to the baby whenever he had the chance! And our dog, Sassy, the Dalmatian, made little whining sounds at him, the same sounds she had made to her puppies 2 years earlier. So smart, she knew he was a baby! Now I knew we’d be one big happy family! 👨‍👩‍👦🐈‍⬛🐕❤

@Jade The Libra Hey Ghoul, Hey! OMG, I laughed, I cried, and I had the most happiest tears of joy for you, Dallas, Neens & Little Lucian as I watched your birth story. I am an RN & I worked in the NICU/Maternal Newborn & Labor & Delivery & your shared story brought back so many memories of not only working up there but when my 1st son was born almost 28 years ago! I wasn’t a Momma yet when I worked up there but I do knew w, being a Mom now, I just couldn’t work in the NICU now because I swear, I’d be bawling coming home everyday. Like when You were explaining that You never thought you would ‘be’ or feel like this, becoming a Mom; you can’t explain it & once you do it, if ‘you know; You know’! I had a hell of a time getting pregnant, carrying my son to term & 1 hell of a delivery. I was induced at 37 weeks, had FIVE STRAIGHT days of labor & he was shrouded from head to toe as he was caught up on my back bones; my son literally had a black eye for well over a month after he was born. He had to stay in the hospital for just over a week & still to this day; it was the longest week of my life. My heart went out to you & Dallas when you were trying to explain what it’s like, going home without Your baby & there aren’t words to explain what it feels like, again my heart melted for the 2 of you. I will say, I feel like I’ve literally blinked after he was born & now he’s 28 in August! OMFG, how absolutely adorable is LUCIAN?? That close up that Dallas did in the hospital with his eyes open, soooooo cute! (But how could he not be cute? Look at his Momma, his Daddy & Big Sis Neens!) I didn’t know Your fav show is ‘Paranormal Caught On Camera’! My last house was sooooo incredibly haunted; my partner Del was thrown 15’ across the kitchen; the pix I have as well as EVPs are absolutely insane! We even shared Our story on The Travel Channel’s ‘Paranormal Survivor’, S4, Ep9, called Demonic Hauntings’ (dai.ly/x6u2hdx) I am soooo elated to see Lucian is home (OMG, Your poor foot) & sending the most massive congratulations, hugs, blessings, joy, light & love, from our home to Your’s!

Best video you have made!!!! Love that lil boy if yours! You had me laughing, excited, and crying….. but it was all worth it! Lucian and Neens make an awesome team. I had a daughter with a heart condition and spent a lot of time in the hospital for her first year, always checking her heart beat at home and taking care of what needed to be done. Cardiologist talked surgery and by the time her first birthday rolled around she out grew it. She still has a faint murmur but can do what ever she wants. By the way she’s 33 years old now and it was all worth it. Keeping you in my prayers and thoughts! Love your new little family!!!
