Consider getting kids an alternative to dollar items. Most items aren't well made and end up in landfills. I'd check the labels for kids clothing too. A lot of fabrics are made from plastic and can be absorbed through the skin. Supposedly newborns are now born with microplastics in their blood

the veiled lady always gives me the vibes of like a really old haunted estate where she's the lady of the house who still roams the halls, i LOVE her and would love to see a mantle with that sort of design! thank you for always getting me so excited for spooky season!!

How about a Haunted Bayou for your mantle, with lots of moss and snakes and witchy/voodoo decor. Thanks for the heads-up on the pumpkin whipped cream... gotta get some!

For your mantel this year, maybe you could do like an elegant corpse bride feel. With skeletons, flowers/trees, the veiled lady bust, and maybe some gothic church vibes. Just an idea though. I'm sure whatever you do will look great because it always look gorgeous!

Love the fun shopping videos! I always laugh wondering what the other drivers are thinking when you are talking to us while sitting next to Mr. Skeleton. They must think you have lost it ghoul! But it is worth it for some spooky shopping hauls 😄

This is my 1st year decorating my own home for halloween! I'm also having a "Haunted Housewarming" Party. I'm encouraging costumes (& I'll give out candy to those who do), I'm hiding little ghosts throughout my home/yard as a game to try & find them all. There's a guess how many candies game (ghoul mix m&ms) and a list how many horror movies with the word "home, street or house" in the title. I planned a whole themed appetizers menu & themed desserts. I'm decorating the inside with mini glass witch ingredients vials, fake black roses, a spooky tree, mini jack o lantern string lights, paper bats on the walls & a halloween lace table cloth among other things!

Green bathroom made me think of Frankenstein's Monster. I can't wait to decorate my new house!!! You've given me so many ideas!

I’m so excited to decorate my new apartment this year. My theme ideas are witchy in the kitchen, spooky/haunted house feeling in the living room, & in your face orange & black in the bathroom.

Zesting the lime-don't go too deep just skim the peel. It is very bitter underneath, same thing with zesting a lemon.I'm with you on the elderly dogs-they give you their entire life so when they get older they deserve the extra care and inderstanding. They don't know they are older and don't understand why they can't do what they always have.Hugs to your babies. Both of them.

A spooky forest would look fabulous with black, white, gray and green moss!!! I also like the idea of a spooky cemetery vibe. Tombstones, spooky veiled woman, crows, spooky trees, and a fog machine!!!

Love my mantle. But the TV cabinet in my den is where I decorate with all my prized Halloween decorations. Oh man, Lucian might be an escape artist when it comes to trying to 'zone' him off from certain areas of your house when he starts toddling. When my little one was toddling, I simply didn't decorate at all on the floor AT ALL because my son was Houdini and got over/around the baby gates within a week of his newfound mobility. It wasn't until he turned 5-6 that I could start again. But hey, that just means you get to go (even more) crazy with every surface Lucian can't reach. My favorite place to decorate (since I don't have a mantel/fireplace) is this awesome antique drawer/dresser that hangs out in our hallway. It has an awesome vintage vibe going all year round that gets turned up to the nines during spooky season when all the black and orange comes out.

The spooky baby/kids clothes are too cute! Omg. I would 100% wear those in “big kid” sizes, too! Lol Also, I’m obsessed with my Sleepy Hollow (does anyone else ALWAYS think spooky hollow instead of sleepy hollow???) short sleeve. It’s such nice fabric, the design is off the charts cool, and the fit is just so perfect. I’m short so I don’t usually like longer tops but the cut of this one just makes it work. Love it! 🖤🧡
