Biggest issue with bee queen crown sanity stations, is the fact that at the point where you can build them, you have likely learnt other simpler ways to handle sanity management. Still really cool design, probably gonna use it myself P.S. i love the flingo repeater, nice way to utilize spinning boats :o

While i appreciate attempting to bring back the classic sanity station. The whole point of that is you set it up once and then its done, no crazy mechanics, just stand in one spot. I feel like with all the flingo and boat setup any time you wanna just get 100 sanity you might as well just set up a bee farm with some lureplants on a boat to make jelly salad. There comes a point when the sanity station, while semi-automatic, just simply isnt practical over regular ways of regenerating sanity

Yeah fair point but this is the same once it's setup its there forever. Just need to turn on the flingo and the fire pit and you are set to use the station I just looked at jelly salad and it's definitely more for late game since can only get a few lureplants a year.

Interesting! I must say that as a Wicker main who always need sanity management i might be one of not many who will actually use this haha. Tho while having moon storms i usually spam fish books in night when sanity switches with lunacy for my cannon fish farm. And than can make hundreds of Surf n Turfs which give 33 sanity. Or use my already annoyingly long and expensive to make tentacle sanity station. Or if I'm other character(Winona for easy catapults/hearts),Warg/reanimated skeletons sanity station. I feel like at this point of the game, especially with every night without nightmare creatures,sanity stations become inferior. But they are so fun to have around that i don't care xD The easiest to make is still rabbit one which we would always have if we have Maxwell around.Cause they won't turn to normal when you aren't insane anymore. But forget easy this is still too unique not to try! Great idea,and as Wicker who already has bunch of farms with birds in general this will definitely be on my list ^^

It can be done pretty early though considering the only requirement is the moon storm the only hard part really is getting the Pearl from the crabby hermit and then defeating the crab king. I'm just happy to see it because I was the originater for the first sanity station Sadly I can't take full credit for this one but it is great non the less

You can actually spawn 2 stars in the same spot if you hold down the mouse button while casting. So pretty good for 50 sanity a second

could you do this with the robin type of bird and synch their attack up so they work like a one shot turret that you could use to farm mobs? could be better than a houndius but I'm not sure if they wreck the walls and eventually escape.

You know I'm going to have to test that now I'm pretty sure that they can still be used as a turret System since they actually have some big range the only thing I'm concerned about is how they draw aggro. And how they deal with other enemies or do they only aggro the player. But yeah I get 100 of those bird there and you create 1000 damage splash against everything

Dude wait, the boat repeater might actually be huge... Could you use that to make some sort of other automated systems? A hofdjhoifhjp Don't Starve computer?! It has on and off states and they cycle within a given ammount of time. Idk what you can do with that, but I get the feeling that you can do something with that!

yeah i was really thinking of that since the boats have 4 different speeds. can roatate and potentially do alot I would love to see some one make stuff with that!

I may have not beaten the game but that becaus I get sucked into trying to be perfect cause I have seen way too many good players beating the game under a year....if I stuck to any world I would easily win but looking at this it seems like a pain in the ass, to both set up and do. I feel like using a tent and serval pigs or even just a single beefalo would be easier and for others just do DRUGS!....mushrooms I enjoy being the spider boy and I tent to ignore my sanity most of the time. some friends got me to play wes and honestly he felt kinda easier speed boost basically constant, hunger a pain(it has retaught me to actually collect food on day one cause I normally go day one and two without grabbing too much grub) but I used green caps as a major source of food cause eating 5 uncooked recovers full hunger, than eat one cooked will bring me back over my insanity(for wes... almost for webber)... and we're not even getting into the fact beefalo are a great meat shield even when starting to tame them. I would likely say wes was better than old maxwell. Just the last bit I'll add does anyone else hit tall birds with a torch to just to steal gold and rocks from them? I mean I do cause enemies on fire just kinda panic and I mine and kite tall birds with no intention to kill... just scare them.

I never used sanity stations myself i mean most times insanity is actually just free nightmare fuel and when I don't want to be insane green caps do the job or literally just wearing the tam throughout the winter automatically makes you never go insane so eh And besides I'm never a fun of automating things I rather do stuff myself other than just sit and wait

What when the fire extinguish ? I guess the bird will stay inside the box and the freezing is just so they don't attack you. I guess i'll put it in my base... It take some place

l think folks are only building this out of nostalgia or just for the hell of it, we have way better ways to gain sanity, l always carry a stack of the leafy jelly for 50 sanity a pop in a bundle

I have heard of this leafy jelly like 5 times now but it's such a late game item to have in mass now I don't usually play that long cause I get bored after a few years. So I never am able to amass a bunch of leafy meat sources

Couldn’t you just use tree guards to avoid all of this setup?

There isn't really a way to pen treegaurds in a way they won't get out plus you can't really stack them to maximize gains

@@DVGMedia1 if you plant tress near them don’t they go into a sleep state where they don’t move? They still have the negative sanity aura but otherwise they don’t attack. I thought that lasted until you chopped a tree near them

Why would you use pigmans and punchingbag, if they attack it?

We know the best station is still to use commands to make the game spawn more Deerclopses and make them stay in place and passive. This doesn’t work please don’t waste your time trying this.
