It's fairly easy I'm doing it after a ruins rush as wx with nothing but bunny muffs and a thermal stone lol

Now do it with Willow. Simultaneously helpful and an utter nightmare.

If I'm correct I think the reason you get sanity for befriending an unknown spider is because you unlock the cookie recipe, it's similar to how you get sanity for reading a blueprint

Yea i think that's it whenever you get a recipe that you can craft on the go(prototype it, blueprint or some other means) you gain sanity

Klaus casts a spell after two pounce attacks in the second phase. He does the pounce attack after a certain time (I don't know how long that is). If you're in melee range between the pounce attacks he goes for the swipes. So basically, it's always 2 pounces -> 1 cast but inbetween the pounces if you're too close he might do a swipe.

In my opinion you should of just allowed to burn some trees for charcoal as the warming foods should be part of this challenge as a unconventional way to heat up and you shouldn't rule them out just because you need to burn a few trees it doesn't make a difference at the end Also yeah you should always make world's private if you don't want player it sucks to just get kicked immediately because a radon diceded to not put a world on private

I thought about it post production I could have used gunpowder or a fire staff gun powder I can remotely detonate with a mole and it won't chop a large tree so I could burn a forest that way. Plus dfly desert does have some natural coal. And the fire staff is self explanatory

@@DVGMedia1 you could’ve also hunted krampus for charcoal. Bunnies and pigmen, along with glommer provide decent ways to summon it.

The obvious solution is to use the lava pools to turn yourself into a human torch, then use yourself to burn down a small man made forest

Nice video! I used to use Klaus loot stash a lot to block the lunge attack, but then Wanda went and broke that. You could have placed your spider eggs to do the same thing.

I always find that entering caves causes a temperature DECREASE, so its weird that its the other way around.

i tried over 8 times as WX78 and it involves getting ear buns and a cave with enough materials, spider den ,blue mooshrom forest and a bunny hutch to have a chance of surviving even if you have the circuit as a very good upgrade you cant get it early game you must have luck and good timing to have a chance to get it and any tents or sleeping bag will do wonders to get heat and heal

Yo, just make the server private, it's such a pain to be kicked from a server you just joined.

Wormwood was the first character I had to use bandages with (in industrial scale).

Im sure the lunge attack is on a cooldown. As Wanda, ill hit 3 times then run away which gives enough space without a speed item.

I gotta try this it seems like lights out which I also gotta try but this is more knteresting

I don't hate that you spawned a Klaus in, but I would have considered it an out of time fail state if it was my run. Or maybe the challenge should be on a world that is always winter?

It was something that was strange but then again the winter start was strange in itself. The winter season was 20 days vs 15 days. And I thought Klaus would stay the whole season. But it seems like it despawns on certain criteria. In a normal world Klaus would have been there at the end of season. But that does mean a new thing to look at and make a video about 😂

Really cool video, im just wondering if using Wx and finding dragon fly would be viable

Wilson, the original King of Winter, should be able to do it too; if started with some beard growth.

fun fact: there is a bug/unintentional future that allows 2 heated thermal stones to act as a nuclear reactor and heat each other and the player up to the point of over heating so you can basically ignore cold as any character can be cold prof like WX but you have to unload one every now and then to cool down ......

mm interesting. I did a big look into thermals but they do not provide heat to each other. They do provide heat to the player. if they are on the ground. how to do the bug?

Charcoal should not be banned for this. You'd just have to flee any tree you set on fire to avoid getting benefit from the heat, and come back after the flame extinguishes.

Charcoal is not outright ban from The Challenge but just the easy ways of getting it are so if I found like gunpowder or fire staff I could easily use those for it

how long can you survive without scientific progress? (can replace how long to instead beat fuelweaver or just make all 4 seasons to short and finish a whole year) (no science machine and wickerbottom is a nono)

I tried not to abuse it as much. No restarting the world for it and it's impossible to avoid unless you want to cut caves from the gameplay

@@elChuchmay I had the dragonfly ponds banned because I thought they would be too easy. I did do a poll before hand to see what people preferred for the ruleset. and they stated that spawn light was to be banned by relogging but caves was okay
