He legit is. I got the pleasure of filming with him once and he's so soft spoken and friendly and lovely even to the "nobodies" on set (of which I was one). An excellent director and all around great guy.

I recommend Chef to pretty much everyone I know. It has to be the BEST "insider view" of kitchen life I've seen. Thankfully I haven't been in food service for a loooooong time, but I do miss the after-closing hanging out with restaurant co-workers.

Started from the bottom now we're taking a frozen cylinder of ganache and setting it in the center of the ramekin so that the outside cooks fully but the inside becomes molten.

I just watched the “Chef Show” episode and found myself here. Just wanted to stop by and say that the layers of respect on that episode outweighed any culinary knowledge conveyed, though there was lots of it. True gentlemen, all of you. Takes a lot to outshine intelligence and natural gift, and you succeeded.

Hi Babish! I love watching your videos but, sadly, I usually don't have the resources to recreate any of them. After seeing this one I realized I could do it! It took two years to find the right excuse, but I finally made chocolate lava cakes for my brother's birthday this year. Absolutely delicious. Your video made my mom laugh too, so that was a gift in itself. Thank you for helping me to make my family so happy.

Saw this the minute it was premiered. Seeing it featured in THE CHEF SHOW was absolutely fabulous.

I loved this movie soooo much, one of my favourite food/chef movies everrrr!
