    💯 % agree. Bindings are not hexes or curses. I’ve done bindings many time usually in the workplace against gossips, busy bodies, and bullies. Some behaviors might continue but they weren’t able to hit me were it hurts (so to speak) & usually ultimately results in them going away all together.

    I think performing bindings on other, potentially unwilling individuals for their own well being can be good, but it’s something to be careful with. The example of the alcoholic is a great example of when this may be appropriate, especially if they realize the harm it is causing them and wish to be rid of it. The main thing to keep in mind is whether the thing being bound could be protecting them in ways we may be unaware of. For instance, if I had a friend that always seemed afraid to express themselves freely, I might want to bind their anxiety to make them more comfortable being themselves. However, this extra measure of reservation might be protecting them from judgmental and controlling parents who are willing to bully them into being exactly who and what they want them to be. A potential outcome to consider is that I bind the anxieties that were internally developed to keep them safe from their abusive family. If you plan on doing a binding on someone else for their own good, my first recommendation would simply be to ask them first, as they almost certainly have some info about their situation that you don’t. However, I do recognize that this won’t always work, in which case I’d recommend careful consideration of exactly what it is you intend to bind, as well as the potential consequences of doing so.

    First off, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and for the kindness you've shown towards my videos. I'm genuinely thrilled to hear you're finding value in them! You bring up a fascinating perspective, and honestly, it's one that resonates with a lot of people out there. The idea that magick and prayer can intersect and intertwine is quite beautiful, isn't it? In many ways, both practices involve reaching out, connecting with something greater than ourselves, and focusing our intentions or desires towards positive outcomes. I truly believe that everyone's path is unique, and if your journey finds harmony in both magic and your faith in Jesus, that's a wonderful and personal synthesis. It's all about what resonates with your spirit and helps you grow.

Don't mess with me! I added hair and some alcohol vinegar to the water...to make this person feel even more "homey and comfortable". If it's already there, at least it should be "cozy" because it's going to be there for a while. Different subject, but have you done any videos on the evil eye? I discovered this long before investigating spiritualism or witchcraft. I glared at a girl who spoke rudely to me. She was a stranger and carried on with what she was doing. I didn't even look her in the eye, but as I continued to glare with her turned sideways, hoping she would vomit or something, her hands began to shake, and she dropped what she was carrying. This left me amazed and smiling to myself.

    What would you do if you are binding someone in active addiction and you don't want to release them from the binding, would you just bury it with the nail?

  • @WitchNTheWorking

    @WitchNTheWorking

    3 ай бұрын

    If it were me personally.... I would keep it somewhere accessible. This being said.... Dealing with situations like binding someone in active addiction can be pretty complex, and it's great that you're approaching this with care. In the realm of witchcraft, binding someone, especially in a state like active addiction, is all about intention. It's like saying, "I wish you no harm, but I also don't want you to cause harm." When it comes to not wanting to release them from the binding, it's crucial to consider the energy and intention you're putting into the world. Burying the binding with a nail can be seen as a way to "ground" your intentions, making them part of the Earth's natural cycle. It symbolizes a kind of finality or conclusion, like you're saying, "This is my will, so mote it be." But remember, it's not just about the physical act; it's about what's in your heart and mind as you do it. It's like planting a seed with the hope it'll grow into something beneficial, not just for you but for the person you're binding too. You're looking for balance and healing, not harm. It's a way of saying, "I care enough to want positive change, but I also recognize the complexities of life and addiction." Always approach these practices with love, compassion, and the hope that the person you're binding finds their way to healing and peace. Remember, everyone's journey is unique, and sometimes, the most magickal thing we can do is offer support and understanding. Witchcraft is as much about wisdom and kindness as it is about spells and ritual.

    what if you have been bound up- unethically- how to unbind yourself

  • @WitchNTheWorking

    @WitchNTheWorking

    3 ай бұрын

    It's important to remember that you've got the strength and the power within you to turn things around. First off, grounding yourself is key. Take some time to connect with the earth, maybe by walking barefoot on the grass or just sitting quietly in a natural setting. This helps clear your mind and brings you back to your center. Next, consider a cleansing ritual or bath. Use saltwater or a blend of protective herbs that resonate with you (like sage, rosemary, or lavender) to help wash away any negative energies or bindings. As you do this, visualize the binding dissolving, washing away with the water, and imagine yourself surrounded by a protective light. Creating a personal affirmation or mantra can also be incredibly powerful. Something that speaks to your strength and your right to personal freedom, like "I release any bonds that do not serve my highest good." Repeat this to yourself, especially during your cleansing rituals, to reinforce your intent. If you feel comfortable, you might also look into a reversal spell, one that's specifically designed to undo bindings. The focus here is on undoing and releasing, not on sending anything back or causing harm. And lastly, remember the power of community and support. Sometimes, just talking about what you're going through with trusted friends or fellow practitioners can be incredibly freeing and healing.
