Today again I watched this Awesome one. I am in a habit of listening to Ramana 's Veena daily without fail which I consider as a Divine one. Every bit is a mind blowing one for me.

I bow to the Saraswathi imbibed in you. Your talent has become a mirror to reflect the superiority of the great sanathan culture of India, which can never be spoilt by any harmful religions of other countries how long they try. Also the raga has depicted the Devine bhava of a deciple to a guru, very well. And also Ramans veena and voice have merged smoothly to become one, expressing the oneness of a jeevathma with paramathma. Really a great pleasure to have artists like Ramana. Let the blessings of the guru be on him forever.

I hope Darbar Festival invites him to perform - he has alot of merit in Veena

It really feels like this boy was once somehow connected to the divine Ramana Maharshi 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Even without headphones, this sounds a lot better than the recordings that have a pickup on the veena

Ramana, I love the recording. Please do keep making such recordings. Nowadays with the pickups, the full sound of the Veena instrument is not captured. This recording does a lot of justice by faithfully capturing the Veena instrument's melodious sound. I noticed that your music academy concert sounded very good with a pickup + external mic combination. This is most ideal for live performances. Wish you the very best !

Please share some insight about the composition.

I wish Ramana thinks long and hard about how he can bring back the acoustic sound of the veena is infinitely better and there for all to enjoy. The pickup he uses on stage is noisy and nasally and just not up to par. If you are reading this Ramana, look into how you can modify your instrument to resonate more and use correct microphones. Western classical music has set the bar for acoustic music. We have to catch up. Veena is not an easy instrument to mic, but with thought and effort it can done.

I very much agree with this comment! The sound of this recording is infinitely better and more authentic that the nasal sound that he has on stage due to the poor audio setup. It does not do enough justice to the beauty if your playing on this instrument!

What does binaural strings mean? Is it a different type of string or playing technique or the name of this rendition. Please explain

It is a type of recording. Nothing to do with strings. These binaural microphones capture sound just as we perceive it. So here, you are virtually the Veena player. The microphones are placed in my ears. Check this out: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_recording?wprov=sfla1
