Billy and band are up there with the GOATS. He is a super talented song writer, story teller and musician. Maybe start with Dust in a Baggie or Turmoil and Tinfoil. ( pink glasses version) . Both tell of the early life he had surrounding him. He manages to fuse different genres of music. Enjoy!

Billy Strings and Marcus King doing Summertime at the Carter Vintage guitars studio is awesome. As well as Lonesome Fugitive from the same session is great. Highly recommend.

Billy Strings concerts are crazy man! you'll see old folks look like they just walked out of church singing with hippies and wooks that's shirtless and barefoot lol.

Billy is the man on guitar. Never seen anybody pick as well as him.

Thanks for doing Billy Strings as a reaction. You ask for more suggestions by him. He covered Post's "Circles", and it is on KZread if you look for it. As for story songs Billy has one that is an original that you may like "while I'm waiting here", would love to see what your thoughts are on that song is about. My boyfriend and I argue over that. And he has a new song that is not out on an album, yet he is only performing it live called "My Alice" it is very good and creepy. All mentioned are easy to find on KZread. All are live performances.

hey fellas - new sub here. got pulled in by a Tool reaction. my top 3 my fav bands are Tool, Alice in Chains and Rage Against the Machine. would love to see more of your journey into those bands, but since i'm watching and commenting on this video, i'll suggest you watch Post Malone doing Nirvana. it's unreal how good PM when doing rock. imo, the guy should be doing more rock and heavy music but anyhow, keep up the good work.

I wonder if you'd be interested in checking out a female artist "Bobby Gentry - Ode to Billy Joe" (I recommend the channel: Mettz Musik) A movie with the same name as the title of the song was released in 1976. The film was based on this song, and she recorded the soundtrack for the film. It was very popular in the 70's and was very successful. I love bluegrass music I grew up listening to it, Billy Strings has created a whole sub-genre of bluegrass music, that I adore. I think it's a genre that's an acquired taste, you either like it or you don't. Nice reaction👍
