After loosing my wife to cancer this year and going into a dark place that I never knew existed I found this young guy trolling through KZread to pass the lonely hours.His music and talent has lifted my soul and helped put me back on the road to normality. I want it more and more. Nothing I want to listen other than blues and country. I used to listen glam rock, hair metal in past. Those old eminiscences makes me so embarrassed. Though i feels lucky enough I have developed my taste now in blues and country.

Billy Strings is the best thing to happen to music in the last two decades. He’s so immensely talented, the Jerry Garcia of Bluegrass.

Special. Special talent. Don't blindly sign any recording contracts, always try to own your own masters, your name, and publishing rights. Try to get advice from old heads in the music business. Thanks for the upload Billy , Brother keep it comin and man I been listening since the first post on you back around 2015 I guess . It's been a blur for me with two bouts of cancer stage 4 non hodgkins lymphoma in 14 and non small cell lung cancer in 2016 with a spinal cord injury in between the treatments in 15 and I've been real fortunate to make it thru all 3 tests as I look at em . I owe you many thanks during those years cause I listen to music 75 percent of my time during and after those days and I've been involved in the music industry my entire life from sound boards and lighting to working nationally with sound and stage company's and even toured several times with some local bands that aspired to make a go of it . Now the reason for the life story is simple , brother I ask one thing of you and I feel you already know this and that is dont let them " producers agents manager's I guess you know whom I'm speaking of just dont let them BURN YOU OUT man cause they will it's their lifes goal I feel sometimes and your better than that I've not seen your demeanor change not one bit but I look from afar, so much talent and the drive to do what you do the right way and i commend you on your efforts . Bless you man stay who you are and true to yourself and family and you will be doin this for a very long time . Peace be with you and hope you come to Spartanburg sometime in the near future and one last thing yall have a damn killer band and glad yall stay together as long as you have Doc would have been so proud and i currently live a stones throw from his hometown and resting place summertime with Don J. was killer by the way , much love and respect to all of you !!!
