Omg......he has one of the absolute saddest life stories ever. I wonder if the reason he was so brilliant as a musician had anything to do with him trying to make sense of his personal identity struggles along with him being a "target", before he was a teen, of abuse by predators he had no defense against. THIS is yet another reason why fathers are so critical in a child's life, particularly the formative years. Wow, wow, wow...

My Heart breaks for Billy Preston knowingly that his mother was the only thing that he had and that she was suppose to be his his protector as well with her child as the age he was she was suppose to be their while he was doing his gigs but instead she was sulking in within her own self and it could have been because of Billy dad not being around BUT IN THIS CASE THERE IS NO WINNER EVEYBODY LOOSES AND IT TRULY BREAKS MY HEART THAT HE HAD TO ENDURE HIS OWN TRAUMA''S BY HMSELF AND WRESTLE WITH HIS OWN DEMONS WITHOUT THE LOVE AND SUPPORT OF HIS MOTHER . Mr Billy Preston he is an iconic male singer of R&B,a remarkable song writer, music producer, collaborate with other various artists.He was a close friend to George Harrison,he produce songs with The Rolling Stones.He will be missed sleep peacefully in heaven.He is the greatest musician in history.

My own biological "father" SA me from ages 4-12. I told my mom when I was 12. Her response was "get out of here you liar". That was 51 years ago. She stayed married to this monster for 56 years. Until he died. 9 months ago, my baby brother called her to his bedside. He told her that I was actually molested by the monster and that she should have divorced him. Oddly,when he called her to his,bedside, he said"I need to talk you about something". She responded "is it about the molestation". And she didn't know. Yeah right. 😢😢😢😢😢😢
