I know exactly what you mean. I eat way less than 200. dollares a month and I share food sometimes. I cook my food start to finish, it's cheaper and taste way better. People want prefab food, just pop it in the microwave and eat a million calories. That isn't heathy to eat like that. Every single thing there is goes up, every year it has always been that way.

We happen to really like our local bakery in a very small town in WI that sells just a basic loaf of white bread, that just recently went up in price again, to NOW $5.00 a loaf!! Pretty sure we will be getting basic bread from Walmart now. ☹

My friend, from the UK, recently went to Florida for the 1st time since just before Covid and couldn't believe the prices now.

Dollar tree is no longer a Dollar store Some are $5.00 dollars Each Now,

You'll NEVER get prces down as long as fuel is thi high! Fuel is in EVERY item you use. Fuel cost are up 33-50%. How could everything not cost more?

I went grocery shopping yesterday with my 78-year-old Mother ... one cart about 75% full cost over $400. I spent almost $80 and carried my bags in one trip.
