I love that I'm not the only who remembers and loves this song.

I lost my wife in 2020 of. 55 years I love her so much. And I miss her more she was the best she went to be with me in Germany .she was PG. When she went to Germany and we had both our childern there. We came back to the USA and bought our home and she passed at home with the the 3 of us by her side. I can't wait to be with my wife again like the song says love is forever.

After the more uptempo hits of the second half of the 70s (Love Really Hurts Without You,Red Light Spells Danger) and first half of the 80s (Caribbean Queen,Loverboy),Billy was really hitting it with the ballads in this period.

I cry everytime i hear Billy Ocean...his music speaks to my soul❤

I had a very bad crash and was trapped in my truck. The tape player was on, and this song came on i pressed repeat,. It calmed me and made me fight to live to be with my loved ones, i survived with serious injuries but made it, all good. Songs can work miracles, thanks dude.

Was hospitalised with internal chest bruising in a crash last month,nothing like as bad as what you went through but it's pretty scary when it happens. Didn't have a song playing,unfortunately,but a wonderful couple stopped and came to my aid and I cannot thank them enough. Glad you made it through,keep prospering.

Dear Lord, how I miss the 80s. I was only in high school, broke as hell but songs like this from Billy, Luther, Peabo, Lionel, Whitney, Anita, etc. make me yearn so much for those years!!!

Music is a wonderful thing!

He had a couple of big hits in the later part of the 70s as well here in the UK,with both Love Really Hurts Without You (1976) and Red Light Spells Danger (1977) getting to number 2 here. The first time I saw and heard him was when he performed Love Really Hurts Without You on (if I remember correctly after all this time) one of those late afternoon TV programmes we were watching when it was a brand new song,with the throng around him,standing in a short-sleeved shirt singing and dancing gently in a relaxed,smooth manner.

Love and miss you mommy who went to Heaven from Pancreatic cancer on January 10th 2018.It has been so hard to get through these months without you. I remember hearing this song as a child and momma was so young. Billy was one of our favorite singers to listen too. RIP mommy my beautiful Angel

What a loverly voice he has ....WOW

I had forgotten all about this song when I created a collection of his songs. This is my fav besides "Here's To You". I gained mad respect for him when I watched the Showtime special when he and all the 80's bands did a summer tour I think it was back in 2003. He said he was so nervous to go on stage and didn't think anyone wanted him there. He sang his hits, the crowd erupted in cheers all through it. He came off stage smiling. They interviewed him. He was in tears saying "I had no idea it would be like this."

This is a song that I could listen to REPEATEDLY ALL DAY LONG! Came out in 1986, the year I graduated HIGH SCHOOL!

A real true musical artist. All his songs I'm sure came from the heart. They are so refreshing each time I hear them. Billy Ocean is from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Proud of my fellow Trinbagonian.

What a beautiful song, I seen him at the Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh in late 85 or early 86 to long ago to remember, what a concert me and the beautiful lady I was with were 3 rows from the stage, the man can sing. Today's music isn't even in the same league as music of the 70s 80s and 90s, that's for the memories my man.
