One of the greatest playoff games in history. I'm a Bills fan but this was insane to watch. I don't think we've seen a QB battle like this since Peyton and Brady. This was historically elite quarterbacking from both QBs. The NFL needed this since we haven't had a consistently elite QB rivalry since colts/patriots.

Honestly , I can't remember a game so exciting. Cavs vs Warriors when lebron won in Cleveland. Chalmers 3 to send it to overtime for the eventual win . And maybe the Giants vs the Patriots with that end zone catch

Being a Buffalo Bills fan for over 30 year's, this was the best game we ever played, behind the come back against the Houston Oilers. If you gotta lose, what a way to lose. We left it all on the field, this game will be remembered forever!!! Salute to the Kanas City Chiefs, because they played one hell of a game#!!#!!!!#

It certainly made up for a boring Wild Card weekend

Over a year later and I am still revisiting the highlights to this game. I was there in the stands that day. From start to finish the atmosphere in Arrowhead was electric! I remember when it came down to the final 13 seconds of regulation that all the Chiefs fans had paused and began to waver. Some even accepted defeat and started to leave. My friends and I decided that we would stick it out and see what would happen. It seemed to be a foolish hope that they could somehow win it, but it was a hope nonetheless. Still, there was no way anybody could have predicted what happened next. None of us in the stands could believe the game we had just witnessed. Even though my team won, many other Chiefs fans and I held nothing but respect for the Bills fans there. Even though they were heartbroken, they congratulated our team for the hard fought win. It was nothing but complete mutual respect and admiration between both fanbases and their teams. Easily one of the greatest games of all time in the NFL and by far the greatest one I ever attended! Will never forget the night and the experience!

These highlights should have included the OT coin toss. That was the most impactful moment of the whole game.

@traplordghost what you’re doing is like someone telling you “it’s unlikely that you win the lottery” and you say back “all of the lottery winners say otherwise.” Obviously overtime is significantly more in control of the players, but the fact remains that getting the ball when your opponent’s defense is completely gassed with a chance to win it on a touchdown is a HUGE advantage. The bengals winning, while great to watch, doesn’t change that. While a good number of teams have been able to fight back in the regular season across nfl history, in the playoffs where these things matter much more, what the bengals did has only happened less than a quarter of the time. It’s not a fair rule.

My hat's off to the Chiefs fan's who gave to the Buffalo Children's Hospital, in respect to the Bill's, after their remarkable game.. That's real class..

Both teams put on a show ... Bills made a comeback, Chiefs made a comeback and the game went into overtime. Great passing game from both QBs hitting their receivers ... A classic duel between QBs. Big Ups, Great Game 👍

The overtime rule sucks. Correctly if I'm wrong, but Buffalo didn't even get the ball. Why not just make it an extra 15 minutes. Dunno what to do if tied after that.

Tyreek Hill putting up the deuces at the 17 yard line is still one of the coldest things I've seen in sports. One of the best NFL games I've ever seen

As a Bills fan, it was the greatest football game I've ever seen. Still upset the defense couldn't hold them with 13 seconds left but you have to give credit to the Chiefs for making it down field. Only complaint is that with the OT rules and not even giving the Bills a chance with the ball. Rules are rules but we lost on a coin toss. Unbelievable game.

Don't forget, in 2019 the Chiefs proposed a change in the OT rules after they experienced this exact thing in the NE game. Rules change was shot down. Great game either way!

As a Chiefs fan, I understand your pain. Same thing happened to us in the 2018 AFC Championship. Coin toss gave Tom Brady the ball at OT and that was it. Props to your boys though. Josh Allen is a stud and he'll definitely get y'all a ring or two by the end of his career.

all the credit to the chiefs, but that last drive was only on our D those were not great plays from the chiefs or mahomes (they did not need to), that was easy pitch and catch

Josh Allen played his absolute heart out. This is one of the greatest playoff games. I hope one day Allen will raise the Lombardi. A valiant effort by Allen and also Gabriel Davis

@@ronyolo8419 Agreed. Nobody puts on a show like Chiefs-Bills. It’s probably the most anticipated game out of any 2 teams every year. The drama is already built in, the storyline keeps growing, and it’s always a close game. It’s the best rivalry in football. Mahomes-Allen are 2 future HOF’ers. Kids will talk about these games 20 years from now.

watching this after the Chiefs beat the Bengals in 2023, I think these are literally the two greatest games from a quarterback ever. Seeing Mahomes as injured as he was last night and then watching how lethal he is when he scrambles here against the Bills, I just pray he gets healthy for the Superbowl because he's just too fun to watch. Mahomes is the Michael Jordan of football, no question.

This game was equally as impressive for Josh Allen. Turned him into the Madden cover boy & made him a megastar. Even though his defense folded in the end, they both had legendary performances.

Remember back in the 80's when Montana or Elway or Marino would engineer an unbelievable 80 yard drive in the last 3 minutes? This was all of them in one game.

It's no fun to see two strong offenses and only one gets to take the field to decide it. It should go back and forth until someone fails to match. I.e. the cointoss has TOO MUCH bearing on the outcome of the game.

For me, Cheifs fan, I was like "oh my god.." in a speechless worried manner after Tyreek scored that long TD because I felt that Buffalo would seal the game with no more time for us to hit back. But we got 3 points in 13 seconds!! I cried at the conclusion of the game.

Well, i certainly hope there's better defense on display in the SB. I like electric offense as much as anyone, but there's something to be said for contested catches and hard yards gained on the ground, not a constant reel of blown coverages and missed tackles.

I absolutely love watching Josh Allen play football. He has all the tools a superstar qb needs. Size, arm strength, working thepocket, extends plat, tough to tackle etc... But what separates him from the rest is his grit and determination. I know Allen will give you everything he has on every single play hes involved in. I'm a lifetime Chiefs fan. Yes, obviously, this game was incredible. But, I want to write a few words to all Bills fans out there. Be proud of what you've built. I remember in 1993, when the Bills beat the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. I was heartbroken. I wouldn't see the Chiefs in another AFC Championship game for nearly 30 years. I know you guys have experienced a horrific drought, and have yet to win the big game. But make no mistake about it: Josh Allen is your answer. You guys will not only win multiple titles with him, but I wouldn't be surprised if you won the SB next year. He's ready. You'll be RIGHT back. Congrats on an all time classic game.

I love this. The Buffalo Bills were super respectful and so were the Chiefs. Both communities are pretty chill too. This is the type of rivalry that's actually fun to participate in. Everyone is a good sport but still rep their team. One of the best games in the history of NFL. Go Chiefs, and Bills!!

Bills fan here, this happened more than a year ago but the pain sticks with me. There were so many people that I knew before that game saying that the Chiefs will win no doubt and I tried to keep quiet until the end, when we scored with 13 seconds left I wanted to celebrate but waited till the end of the game. Man…… I really think if we won that game we would have won the super bowl. This game will stay in my heart forever until we win the super bowl (which we never might)

This game was fuggen legendary! Wow. I’m Kenyan, just learning about the game through playing Madden and just when I start getting the basics this game is recommended. Boy oh boy was this a treat! Got me acting like I’m watching it live!

I’m 48 and can say the same. Could not write better scripts. Amazing drama. Congrats to all that won. My Titans did not but the young Bengals sure deserve it. Tannehill sucks. Period. He’s not a winning QB and Henry should have stayed on bench. He was not ready. No explosion out of backfield. Played like he was tired.

Srsly man. This season of football was something else. These NFL teams are finally playing like it’s college football. You can tell EVERY organization wants that SB victory. The days of dynasties are over.

@@toddsmith5894 I’m a chiefs fan and I completely agree. NFL should do what college does and not let the outcome rest on a coin toss.. the Bills deserved a chance

Great game and weekend as a whole, but the overtime rules should be changed, it's just a bummer seeing a performance like josh allen's and then him not having a chance to even fight back in overtime because of the current first score wins system.

The current OT rules values the defense just as much as the offense, which is why they should stay. The nfl shouldn't come down to 1 QB vs another and totally disregard the defense. The bills should've stopped them with the No.1 Pass defense but couldn't manage it with their season on the line.

This recap is basically a highlight reel on acid. Kelce, Gabe Davis, Mahomes and Allen were making explosive plays on every other down-some of them seem impossible.When i saw it i thought it was the greatest game in NFL history,and i stand by that.

I genuinely believe this game was decided by who won the coin toss to start OT. Both offenses were explosive and clutch unlike almost anything else I’ve ever seen, especially at the end of the game. Instant classic.

@@marko6947 To be honest, I kind of agree. I think if the first team scores a TD, then the second team has to score a TD to keep the game going. Then, next score wins. (Or use college rules but starting from the 35 instead of the 25 could work.)

Maybe a reason to change the rules to something similar to college football. Hate to see anyone lose from the coin flip.

The 4 wildest game ending post season ever. Thought Niners win was the craziest I had ever seen, but then I watched Bengals win and I was blown away even more. Thought it cant better than this... but little did I know that I would get an ever crazier game when the Rams won and topping that must be impossible, but the Bills and Chiefs did the impossible. I have a feeling I wont forget about these 4 games for a very, very long time.
