The way he says 'kid' is just amazing. I love how he holds every note. This song was amazing when Michael sang it, but David Cook brings out the whole meaning and effect of the song. ;D

sometimes the old saying is dont fix what aint broken but sometimes u can put a twist on something to make it sound just a tad better or more emotional and that's what david cook did with billie jean.he gave it more life more feeling.still an MJ fan but love love this cover

when you listen to this version of the song, you realize that the lyrics are very poetic and insightful, that's how talented MJ was. Chris Cornell may have seen the power of the song and focus on the darker side of it. But it is Michael Jackson who is the legend

No one can sing this song better than David Cook! He deserved the AI victory a more than anyone... even though I was in the same situation as David Archuleta for quite a while. And I will say this: If you're a singer, with a band that depends on your voice, IT IS HELL ON EARTH!

This is a good version, actually. Gives you that hometown boy feel.

His voice reminds me alot of an old band I used to listen to by the name of "The Confession". Impeccable similarities.
