If you want a real answer, its this. When using time in coding, theres a thing called unix time. Basically what it is is the amount of seconds away from 12:00 AM new years day in 1970 you are at a given time. Its been forever counting up from that day every second and computers take that number, and basically just say "well this is ___ amount of time from january first 1970, which means it must be this day at this time!". So some error must have been made were the unix time was set as the epoch (the epoch is the beggining of unix time, which was 0, also known as january 1st 1970.) and that made it display that. Sorry if I sound like a nerd, just something that interests me!
