I have written on other posts addessing the Warriors lack of success this season that one of the biggest reasons for the decline ( as much as injuries) was the punch because the failurre of the Organization to severely penalize Green or trade him effectively put a player over the culture that the younger players had been told they should buy into so they checked out. Unlike many I do not believe that Green was indespensible to running it back as he could have been traded for others who would have compensated in other ways ( example- Myles Turner). It also likely contributed to them overpaying for Jordan Poole.

@@BostonsF1nest I think Beal embraces it a bit more. Lillard seems to genuinely want to win but IMO is held back much more by location. Let's say we swap the two and Dame gets drafted by Washington and Beal by Portland. I imagine Beal's Blazers would be as bad as his Wizards, but I think the Lillard Wizards would have much more success than the Lillard Blazers have. He'd be able to get significant free agent signings because guys would want to play with him provided that it isn't Oregon.

@@jacobwilkins8761 I think a better argument to make for why Lillard's Wizards would have more success than Beal's Blazers would simply be because Dame would be in the East, which traditionally has always been the weaker conference, at least since Dame and Beal have been in the league. That, coupled with the "genuinely want to win" factor that Dame has over Beal, which I agree with you about, would make a convincing argument to me. And if Dame's whole career had been in the East rather than the West, the perception might be more of "The Steph Curry of the East," rather than "The not as good version of Steph Curry" that plays in the same conference, like it is.

I feel like I’m being gaslit by the Blazer fans base about Nurkic. He hasn’t been a winning player since before the bubble. He’s constantly injured and out of shape, he whines constantly and lets his emotions take him out of the game, and at the best of times he’s a liability in offense but the soccer moms and transplants are constantly screaming about “Nurk Fever” dispute him basically rage quitting in the playoffs 2 seasons ago. I’m sick of his shenanigans and I’d personally drive him to the airport if I had the chance.
