Cheese and rice, Bill. Oz was selling some of the biggest scam creations ever, one was liquid silver you were supposed to drink. He was reprimanded eventually but they just changed the wording a bit and kept grifting his senior citizen audience

Dr. Oz started out good. He was a really good doctor, but then money and fame screwed him up and probably alcohol and God knows what.
Dr. Eugene Landy is a great mad-lib that goes over everyone's head. That scene in Love & Mercy with Paul Giamatti at the BBQ is phenom. What a nut.

Bill confabulates again. Making marijuana a Schedule 1 drug was a decision by the political community, not a decision by the medical community. One man 's quackery is not another man's medicine. Medicine requires reproducible effectiveness, quackery does not.
I got kind of turned off Oz when he was promoting lasers for better skin but never showed a before and after to see results, and I got bored at how he dumbed things down and had elementary school type visual aids. One thing I really agreed with him is when he said depression has become a catch-all diagnosis. I’ve noticed that too. Lazy doctors who aren’t skilled enough to know what’s actually wrong with people - especially women - and how to fix it slap that label on and throw an antidepressant prescription at them. Then the poor guy got tons of backlash from angry women who take antidepressants and didn’t understand what he meant by his comment.

This is the first time I've actually commented on a video that was posted 38 seconds ago.
For all of Doctor Oz's faults, he could have helped in reforming healthcare. Like removing the cap in the United States for how many doctors are allowed to be graduated per year. Reducing medical costs. Now we will never know. Pennsylvania decided to elect a man suffering from a stroke because they thought that would be a good idea. Good luck with that.
