    That was just a gimmick for him to get noticed, a shock attempt. Bowie lives off Americans and America was built by his countrymen, the English. Read some history of the Kings of England, nothing is scarier and more fearsome than that. Murder, Barbaric practices, war, blood, beheadings, brothers killing brothers, sons killing fathers, uncles killing nephews, kings hanging their queens. I'M AFRAID OF THE ANGLO-SAXONS!

    @@jasonspringer2983 - Oh please. I won't disagree with you about the batshit left, and Maher is anything but a hero. But let's not pretend that the right is the paragon of civility and good taste. Some of them (or if you prefer, some of you) are just as batshit as some on the left. If you can't see that, you're just not looking hard enough. "Can you give example of anyone on the right ever being a cucktard shitbag???" (Paraphrased ... but only a little.) That is your point here isn't it? You've got every transgression by any so-called liberal who's ever lived memorized ... so the only way to engage in this argument is to be as ridiculously one-sided as you seem to be. Then it's off to the races, with another phony debate. We've all seen how these halfass debates turn out, and "your people" are just as juvenile and steadfast as anyone on the left. If someone gave you a list of every divisive hypocritical thing a cuckservative has ever said and done, you'd likely spend the night wasting everyone's time with Bullshit like, "Oh that's not true, that's fake news," or "It was taken out of context." Or worse, you'd rationalize it somehow. Again, I'm not disagreeing with you about the left. I'm sure that won't stop you from delivering a completely absurd response, devoid of all reason but full of creative and derogatory adjectives and nouns -- or thinking about it -- but at least I tried, godammit. So ... the right never slapped a Hitler moustache on an Obama pic and made a goddam poster out of it? The right never squashes dissent by ruining someone's career? Puhlease. I know what you're thinking: "Aha! You've got no proof, you ignorant libtard!" But what's the point? You're only going to see what you want to see. And it's always gonna be that way.

    Jason Springer Oh god the left, they made a big mistake with Bill Clinton. That one lie gave the right ammunition to go to their followers and show them that the left isn’t on the high horse anymore. You always criticized Obama, but when have you criticized Trump for the same or for something worse? Never. Because you’re gullible who fell for an elitist. The joke is that the right seems to hate elitists. But when Trump said that he was fighting for you (ofc he had not only no proof, but actual evidence that showed that his businesses were failures and cash grabs) you all fell for it. And now you go around and try to claim that you’re moral? Gtfo out of here, just watch Vice’s vid where they show you all of the clips from Fox news where if the guest disagreed with them they just called him a hater of america. Because that’s what Hitler did. He gave victimhood to the german people exploited their trust and then gave them a common enemy: The jews. I hope you see the pattern here. You know Trump on immigrants. So yeah, open your fucking eyes.

Fundamentally 'free expression' should be upheld, no matter the circumstance. Unfriendly people have always existed - if you can't deal with it. that's your problem. Speech, in and of itself, should not be a crime, no matter how much it is disagreed with.

    Anywhere you live in the world you will find fear, racism, and "fascism" is anywhere even where it is communist. The only thing better outside the US is healthcare coverage, but not in all countries. Only a select few in Europe and Canada. But if you live in NYC, it's healthcare is very "socialist" and generous. HIP of NY fully cover people who make less than $20 thousand and that limit rises a great deal with kids. So it actually benefits in healthcare in NYC to be poor. The US is a "MELTING POT", people from all ethnicities trying to get along. Where else in the world has that worked as successfully? As if there isn't racism in England, France, Switzerland (the worst), Canada, Russia? Even in Muslim countries they are killing each other over religion, people of the same race! Do your research before making such broad statements.

    Deme Alex talking about "research" muslim and "arabs" are not a race... there are many things out side the US better than inside and some things are better in the US than somewhere else. but still the US is the only country I know where all not "white" americans get a prefix... native, hispanic, afro, asian ect and you still call them a race. why is there no euro american or somthing like that ? if someone is a native in a country in which he is still in ... should you not just call him american ? "native" is redundant... we dont have such nonsense here in europe ... of course we still have racists here but not as many as you guys. if someone is born lets say in france he is french. if someone is born in america first generation he is a american but if you are an afro american whos ancestors came over 400 years ago you are not just amerecan you are an afro american. there is still a diffrence.

    Revan817 we ARE "all" American. What YOU are speaking of is the racial distinctions. "whites " are NOT "american". Okay.? We would be called "Caucasian", descendants of the Caucasus region (generally, "white", or, Euro...)...African American denotes "race", from regions in Africa, generally black...SEE? And some DO refer to whites as Euro-american, or Nordic american, etc......Apparently the gov't likes to keep track of our "color", so other than that? we dont have such nonsense here in America....

  • @demealex874

    @demealex874

    Revan817 You need to have a beer or a glass of wine and relax. You are putting ideas and words in my post that were not written. Muslims are not a race and I did not write that, you assumed I meant that. You misinterpreted what I wrote. I said people in Muslim countries are fighting each other over religion and those people are of the same race, because the Muslim countries I am talking about are made up of people of different sects of the the same religion and the same race. Countries like Syria and Egypt. I did not write "Muslim race" anywhere. You don't know me or what I know nor what I have studied, so keep your assumptions to yourself. Also you wrote "of course we still have racists but not as many as you guys" Well prove it. Where is the research and statistics on that? Racism is a Northern European product which was imported into the Americas. The main reason the Southerners wanted slavery to continue was economical. It was the Europeans who went to Africa and kidnapped people into slavery to begin with. It is the Europeans who are still in Africa bleeding the people dry of their resources, along with the Americans. Now the Chinese have joined in. Where did Fascism and Elitism come from? Not the US! This country broke free of the idea that someone was not equal to another just because they weren't born into a noble or aristocratic family. The US also does not use terms like "Your excellency" in diplomatic circles, whilst all the Euro and African diplomats still do. You don't live here, all you know is what you read in magazines and watch on your skewed and biased media.

  • @Revan817

    @Revan817

    9 жыл бұрын

    Deme Alex I do relax. You are right I dont live there but I visit the States a few times. So no not all my "assumptions" are based on "biased midea". I m curious and which race are all these muslims in these countries like Syria and Egypt ? Racism is not a "nothern Europe porduct" its as old as humanity and kingdoms. The Europeans didnt start slavery, again its as old as humanity itself. If you want proof read about Egypt or the the north african Nomads during the Roman Empire. You are right again Fascism and "Elitism" dont come from the US because it doesnt exist during the time when it started. Elitism is just a name Elits are again old as humanity. Fascism is also very old the first case I can think of was the Roman Empire and China I dont know much about them but maybe the Incas aswell. The name for that kind of behavior was indeed invented in Europe. Well I try to prove my point about rasicm here and in the US but I doubt you dont want any proof. A friend of mine is "afro" american who is son of a former soldier here. He never faced racial profiling by police or a shop owner which by the way is illegal here and in all west European countries I can think of. But he did experienced such things during his first trip to america and since than he faced it many many times there. He had no problems to find a job here but he had in the US his family is from a town in Missouri. But lets try something else when it comes to imigration people in the US often have no problems even with illegal imigrants if they are from europe but have much problems with even legal imigrants from South America. By the way the US dont need aristocrats the US made their own if you got money you are an aristocrat in America same goes for your "Elitism". So as you suggest I will have a glas of Dornfelder Wine and keep relaxing.

Now it is mixed with a desire for instant gratification, frustration with a failing economy, less to spend. Not to mention a lost of pride in their own country. The politicians and university that fuel hate and a restriction on free speech. And the very corrupt US government, bend on destroying the economy and the American people.

    anonymity is a double edged sword. it has both ups and downs, and honestly, I find it has more ups then downs, most of the crappy stuff that happens on line is only in text format, but a lot of good things that happen anonymously online lead to things like 3d printers, and funding for start up companies. (yes, it is unlikely those things would happen if it was government (and by extension big-company) regulated)

    Mr. Johnson- Not only are your perceptions correct but, they are amazingly ... perceptive! The Nixon era had some incredulous scandals but only in the past 3 decades has our Republican Party become the collective recipient of the most un-republic conglomeration of imperialists, superstitiously-driven, poorly-educated, avariciously-driven and even ... racist concoction of 'humanity', never before recognized in our history! And guess what, ... it has not been 'by accident'. Cheers and peace to you as well.

    Mr Johnson Not to split hairs, I agree with you, but America's elected officials are actually quite "in touch" with America's lower and middle classes, that's why they get voted in over and over. A good portion of lower, and especially (white) middle classes, aren't motivated by monetary issues, even if this is the dishonest face they present, they are motivated by bigotry, fear, paranoia, and hate (as the poster above me pointed out). The politicians that you see who actively legislate against the monetary interests of lower and middle classes are ultimately doing exactly what they were put there to do by their constituency. And it's quite possible that those politicians only represent a distinct minority of the population of the US, but they represent the population who *always* gets to the polls. Had 50% of eligible voters participated in our last election instead of flushing their duty as American citizens by sitting it out, it's possible that our government could look much, much different. We ultimately get what we deserve.

    Well, I would think road rage has reason to cause rage. Someone is trying to get to work and you have some jerk off going 20 miles an hour on a 45 miles speed limit. Or someone cutting you or switching lanes, or someone not letting you over. But what makes someone so angry about a cheese cake factory?

Right on point...

    Hi Doug I think you've got a good part of the reason, but I don't think it's just the anonymity - I think we've a generation or two who've grown up slouched over TVs, succeeded by another hunched over their keyboards for long hours... They've never gone out much to seek leisure, and haven't learned proper social skills...they've never had to fully accomodate people of differing beliefs, and the anonymity of the internet leads them to believe they can freely, thoughtlessly and rudely express extremist views without consequence...something, which in previous generations might have been inhibited...if for no other reason than the thought it might lead to excluion at best, a good beating at worst... all the best Dave
