Bill Johnson - His Acts and His Ways

(Reposting the full version because KZread has removed the time limit. If for some reason you want to see the old one, here is the link: • Video )
Bill shares about the Israelites and Moses, how they rejected their priestly ministry, but Moses drew near and sought Him and His ways. Both are good, but one is greater, as signs are never 'greater' than what they point to. So the reality is, pursuing miracles isn't wise as pursuing the miracle worker.
"The miracle culture is not the key...you can live in a miracle culture, and still miss it"
I've watched many videos that are associated with Bethel, and many times, comments rail against how Bill teaches people to pursue miracles rather than pursuing God. I wanted to post this because it directly addresses that matter.

This is so good. Countless ties in the OT you read in the psalms and in the writings f the prophets how they were always recalling and retelling the feats that God did throughout their history, and that always became a lightning rod for the people to trust, pray, worship and believe more.

Thank you Lord God for this message. I want to know you and your ways. Help us to have and know your heart. Help us to act on what we know so others will see more of you in us. Thank you for loving us so much.

I remember how another minister Wanye Monbleau, got the exact message from the Lord "Tell the people that I'm good" it's so important, because in this world, so much of what s twisted, evil, and broken is being attributed to God, and whatever good is acknowledged s being credited to "The Universe" or Karma".

Brandon, this is the reason why I believe some Christians don't get healed. They have experienced him and then turn away and resist him. They forget his power. They need to repent. Bill speaks of this in this video. I'm going to add this to my favorites.

Always remember, remind, & be reminded: As Jesus said in in Jn. 17:3: "...this is life eternal, that they might KNOW THEE..." and, of course, Matt 6:33, to seek FIRST His Kingdom. THE MAIN THING is to keep the MAIN THING the MAIN THING, and in case I think, I already know this or that about God or what the Word says, I recall how Peter said in I Peter 1:12&13 that even though they "knew these things" and were "established in the truth," he was going to "stir them up"put them in remembrance...

Wow. Amazing teaching and I fell into that trap. I prayed once what Moses prayed but I too got caught up in the miracles. Forgive me Lord, I wanna know YOU!

9:30 He is talking about miracle culture. Is it ok to compare like that: what a born again believer have in Christ, and this little-part-anointing used by people that were sinfull at their core (spirit)? I dig that u can focus yourself on miracles so much, that you loose God from sight. But still... something's wrong with what He said in that place. But the whole thing is so good ;)

I have a question. In the old testament, Israel was God's chosen people. Does that mean that everyone who wasn't Jewish had zero chance of the one true God becoming their God?

Not according to scripture. Read James 2:14-26. 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Superguy, Israel was chosen....for what? To take the message of God's saving power to the rest of the world! In the old testament God's world view was that "all nations" would come & worship Him. Israel had a purpose & a mission that extended beyond themselves.
